It is really starting to look like Deboer is there guy. They have been so quiet this entire coaching cycle.
He is probably like a kid in the candy store. He can’t believe all the choices that he has acess to! He has so much good stuff now that he couldn’t get elsewhere
Ole Miss Brass caved and will allow him to coach. It's really about the only reason to delay the meeting. They will meet with Kiffin and tell him what he can and cannot do over the next few weeks in regards to the team.
They needed time for all of this to happen. A 9am meeting would have been the end of everything.

This is shaping up as a situation where he stays. If he was leaving he should have left last week. This has only hurt both teams.
If he stays then he wont be considered for an elite position again for a while.
Lots of bridges have been burned on both sides no matter the outcome.
Ole Miss should have said sign the extension or leave. Having him coach this game has made things extremely complicated.

If he doesn't leave for LSU I feel like he is hurting his future earnings. Sexton wont be able to wave him around in front of other elite programs for record breaking deals anymore.
