Trey "signals" he wants to be traded

“There is definitely a bunch of Trey Murphy noise," Amick told Dickinson and Krueger. "It seems pretty clear that he has also signaled a desire to play elsewhere. The market is going to be pretty robust. On the Warriors' side, my understanding was they did not see themselves as being in the mix.
Where you guy thinks he ends up? Guessing Celtics we get JB out of it

I really like Trey, and normally I can’t stand players requesting trades…..but I can’t seem to blame him here.

I don’t blame any of those guys for wanting to leave. Treys been a professional the entire time. Our star not living up to the hype isn’t treys fault

Here is my thing. Does getting JB and his salary make the Pelicans win now? Is Brown the missing ingredient to make the Pels a winner? Thats all it takes?
Or is it gonna be a star player that doesn't wanna be here in a rebuild while he is in his prime. Cuz that's what it will be. Pels are years away. Just draft well and by the time the Spurs/OKC have to start making money decisions, we could be right there to take advantage.

Everything is make or miss in this league. Pair boogie with AD and he misses a free throw and he tears his Achilles. You win the lottery and get Zion along with the AD trade package and our two “stars” can’t stay on the court together. There was a point we had Dejounte, CJ, Trey, Herb, Ingram, Zion all on the same team. Dejounte Achilles, Ingram out for 2 months with a stubbed toe. Pels really can only build through the draft and trading for distressed assets because players have so much power.

I can’t blame players anymore. The organization never seemed to have any direction and established guys don’t want to waste anymore time here. No alpha free agent is willingly signing here and Dumars would have to give up 1-2 starters and limited draft capital to get one.

When you take a less than market value contract to help the team compete and they win 25 games, this is the consequence. Cant blame TM3.

The issue w pick 5 is this is considered a top 4 heavy draft. Now, I do personally like Acuff and the Keaton dude, but not entirely sure how they fit in with Fears. Acuff especially would be a tough fit. So would we be trading to 5 to pick Ament or Mara still? I'd hope not.

Yeah but the number 5 pick this year might be a number one pick in a weaker year. 1-10 in this draft will have a ton of good players. If we get number five I’d be stoked.

The Warriors have nothing to offer us, same with Boston unless its Jaylen Brown and that would involve many more players.

Neither do I. Why would anyone want to play with someone so unreliable and vastly overrated when everyone who has moved on away from him has gone on to enjoy playoff success?
