His range in this draft is probably anywhere from 8-12. After 6, every team’s board will start to deviate.

We’re on the same page. I’d have Griffin above Sharpe if his medicals check out (for the Pelicans specifically, I understand other teams having Sharpe higher).

Interestingly a lot of teams need frontcourt help, I could see teams willing to trade up for Sochan, Duran, and Williams. Chet, Banchero and Smith are all gone.

Replace Griffin with Davis and slide Paolo down to 3 and that's a good looking big board.

I really think Paolo is going to be the best player out of this draft, I kinda don’t understand why the other 2 are consistently ranked above him.

I don't see Chets body holding up in the NBA

Because they have a much higher ceiling. If you think everyone else is crazy, maybe it’s you

I think Chets body concerns are overblown. I don't see someone with his instincts, talent and bball iq being a bust.

It may take him a few years before he's a dominant starting big man, but he'll get there before long and he will be a factor from day one.

Paolo will be a good/great player, but he doesn't have the upside of Chet.

What’s Chet’s ceiling? Is he going to be a teams number 1 scoring option? Or, is he going to be a Jack of all trades, while being a secondary option?

ETA: I guess for me, Paolo already has an NBA body, is 6-10, can score at all 3 levels, and can even run some pick and roll. IMO, it’s much easier to project what he can do at an NBA level than either Chet or Jabari, it’s more likely he reaches his ceiling than either of them. Again, obviously just my opinion.

Paolo has the chance to be special offensively, really special. I’ve said before I don’t think it’s outside the realm of possibility that he puts up Giannis like numbers. 28 pts, 12 rbs, 6 asts in his prime. Kind of guy that can get you 40 in the playoffs. His question is defensively, but I buy the offensive upside with him.

Chet is a bit different, I think he’s unselfish to a fault. But he’s gonna be much more effective defensively and could be special on the boards. But what’s his upside offensively if he continues as the same unselfish type player he is now?

A better playmaking Dirk with DPOY potential.

Highly unlikely he reaches that but that's his ceiling

If you are comparing him to a dirk type player i don't see him ever being the dpoy.

I just don't see a dpoy in his future.

eh, he has potential to be an elite defender. His frame worries me, but he actually did very well against the pick and roll and his rim protection was very good without fouling.

I think he can be a fine defender but i don't ever see him being a dpoy guy.

Orlando is going to pick Holmgren. They have historically never allowed a player they were going to draft talk to the media after the player works out for them and Holmgren was not made available to the media but Banchero and Smith were made available.

Jabari Smith is the heavy betting favorite for Orlando right now

Define historically. They had a regime change about 5 years ago.

Smith has been the favorite since they won the lottery and, given some of the players on their roster, I see Smith being more ready from day one than Chet and that fits their timeline considering Wagner and Carter are good.

Chet seems like a guy who will need to bulk up a bit to really have an impact. He also seen as a pretty unique talent in that it may be hard to really figure out how to use him correctly.

Honestly, OKC is the better place for him for several reasons including their ability to develop players.

According to sources, draft prospect Dyson Daniels (G League Ignite) had planned to visit with the Kings in Sacramento just days ago, but eventually canceled as the draft approaches, as he is invited to the green room in Brooklyn.
