I just can’t believe we really are going into the season just $1.4 million over the tax line.
I thought a poster made mention that tax day, for seasons, is at the trade deadline. Not for sure....
but none of this, if he's stat chasing to get that max, is likely to happen
I wouldn't put BI, or for that matter Zion as stat chasers. Actually been kind of the problem, a lot of us would like them to be a bit more. Pels have a mismatch at positions aside from the post each nigh...
It's a bit deceiving because Jonas carries a lot of his weight in his feet
...
No Karlo, I wonder if he's done for Summer League.
Karlo got called up to varsity....
If you poll coaches, availability trumps talent. This is a big reason for BI’s predicament. Zion is even less available, while Tatum and Brown who I view as lesser combined talents than Husky and Slim are workhorses....
Pels need a 5. I like Karlo, and Theis provides good perimeter defense and some rim protection. Messi was lost in his first action, which is understandable, but didnt see the athleticism everyone was talking about. Good thing is Griff has a profile (long and athletic) but also need someone who is ...
in games that don't matter in an inefficient way, yeah
Oh, I got ya, he’s inefficient in the games Pels lost, and the 49 wins don’t matter….. sheesh...
What does BI do that the league covets?
Buckets …. lol...
BI for Lavert and JA still works
I don't think Allen or Mobley are going anywhere, but if Spyder signs long term with Cavs, they'll move Garland and want a return. Pels don't need Garland obviously but could get another team involved for an asset it needs....
What lineups are playing the majority of the minutes together is way more important than who is penciled in as the starter.
Except for Val, Coach Green gives starters significant minutes. Team is still imbalanced, favoring wings. Losing Dyson and maybe Naji too they still need to t...
Still have my eyes glued to Cleveland, Spyder and Garland....
Good trade, although Pels lose their small ball big 'Thanks Larry' they add talent at a position of need and keep their depth except at the pivot. ...
Y'all gotta stop making shite up
For sure, Becka heard it from Sharon, who heard it from Diane …. Mean Girls...

For sure, wtm? I think Griff made some poor personnel choices, but the Pels have increased win totals each year. Can’t argue that with hypotheticals....
Both Zion and BI had fairly healthy years and CJ led team in FGA. I don’t believe he views himself as a third option....

I actually like the pick. Pelicans need thumpers....
Where does it say that Borrego created an offense for BI to play point?
I believe at media day it was reported that BI would be the facilitator in JB's offense. A couple of months into the season Zion questioned his role in the offense. A couple of weeks before the All-Star Break ...
It’s kind of close to it
Pels leaked BI-WG squabble in the OKC series. Some on this board purport BI didn't want to run Borrego's offense. Poster ErikGorden summed it up well. Just doesn't hold water, not a big thing just poster dribble. ...
I am searching for one sportswriter that posted B dislike JB offensive scheme.
You're not going to find anyone, just more internet made-up nonsense to fit some folks' narrative. It never made sense and the team didn't markedly improve either after the change in focus. It is and al...
Wait, you think this team is best with BI as the #1 option and Zion 2?
Clearly CJ was the #1 option by his FGA .... #1 Job of the primary facilitator is to get the ball to your top scorers. BI and Zion are scorers for sure, however neither have been able to hold up physicall...
