Guess we’ll go on a 15 game losing streak now. And some of you fricks want to give JB a 5 year contract for a 5 game streak. This team is terribly constructed even if the coaching is considerably better.

So Borrego is or isn't doing a good job? The team doesn't have a true closer/alpha/leader. Until we get one or one of the young guys becomes that guy, we're gonna be mediocre. Borrego is doing the most with what he's been given.

He's a 24 y/o elite shot blocker and rebounder.

Yall throw that word around so loosely. He is a decent young rim protector, far from elite and definitely not worth the return you just suggested. A team only makes a move like that if they're ready to contend and we're not there yet.

No. She’s worse than that. She’s evil.

Found a Ben Shapiro fan boy.

I'm confused. Are you trading Zion, Herb, Jose and Fears for Harper and Sochan?

The most generous interpretation I can make is he's trying to say Bryson Graham knew the team would suck because he was here and Dumars didn't because he was new. That makes some sense but I'm doing some heavy lifting for him.

I think this is definitely what Hollinger meant, he just didn't articulate it very well. That Dumars didn't understand just how hopeless this team was and Graham knew very well. Graham knew he hit the jackpot, Dumas was clueless enough to think it was a calculated risk.
Yeah let's move Fuaga for the third year in a row to a new position. That would be such a Saints move.
We know because sources inside the Atlanta FO made it clear they had to keep asking to make sure they were hearing correctly, that Dumars and Weaver were, in fact, offering the pick next year with ZERO protections.

quote:

One Eastern executive with knowledge of how the conversation went from Atlanta’s perspective described a perplexing scene. When one Pelicans executive made the call to Atlanta, the Hawks couldn’t believe what was actually being offered. Atlanta asked for clarification multiple times to confirm the unprotected pick was indeed part of the deal. It got to the point where Hawks General Manager, Onsi Saleh, called Joe Dumars directly to confirm for himself. The Hawks waited nervously for Dumars to confirm, hoping he would not realize what was going on and walk the trade back. But the Pelicans persisted and the Hawks got their steal.

I think we can all agree that it was a terrible trade, that is slightly more bearable now, since Queen has played at a high level. Doesn't excuse the downright malpractice by Dumars and Weaver.
This is some next level BS. Candace and Charlie were great friends, and whether you agree with her or not, its vlear she loved Charlie and is really messed up over his death.
God the people in this thread are insufferable. You haven't watched one minute of a Candace Owen's podcast since Charlie was murdered. If yall had you would clearly know that:

1. She has never accused or insinuated that Erika Kirk had ANYTHING to do with the assassination. She has actually done the exact opposite, which is defend Erika and say that Erika is one of only two(her own husband being the other) that could make her stop. The fact that she hasn't stopped, means Erika hasn't asked. Think about why that could be...

2. All of the questions Candace has asked have been logical, rational questions. Things everyone was asking in the weeks following the assassination. She has just not let up, because Charlie was one of her best friends. She wants answers, as do the millions of people that listen to her each day. These people dont trust the FBI and DOJ to get the truth out(why should they), so they're watching each week to see what Candace uncovers.
3. The people at TPUSA did across very questionable in the minutes after CK was murdered. There were cameras everywhere, so its easy to see for yourself. If you dont think they behaved strangely and if the official narrative makes complete sense to you, then i suspect you still believe the official narrative for JFK, 9/11, etc..

Let's see this play out. Im glad TPUSA is finally willing to answer these questions. This is what everyone, including Candace, has wanted from the beginning. The truth. The people who just want the story buried and over with are the ones that I question.
1. We arent getting all that for Trey. We'd be lucky to get our unprotected first back, considering how terrible we are and how good this draft class is.

2. It wasnt a month ago, you were saying we were a play-in team, AT WORST. Now "atleast 5 teams will finish with worse records." Pretty soon it'll be, "how often does the worst record actually land the #1 pick? It probably wont happen. Queen is still a stud."
I took TWolves -3.5 at the end of the 3rd. Knew it was free money.

Jones wouldn't be in the top 5 of our best trade assets. Zion, Murphy, Missi, both rookies and our 2027 1st rounder are all worth more than him.

Herb Jones has 5× more trade value than Missi.

Dude you were defending the Queen trade and talking this team up for months, so you really cant call anyone retarded or talk shite and expect anyone to take you seriously.

Several of us told you how bad this team/season was gonna be, you dug in and ignored reality. Now here we are. Bottom three team in the league, with no draft pick and no way to improve or get a true star on this team.

If we make a trade with OKC they will rape us on the return. Im terrified of Dumars and Weaver making more draft day trades.

We should've kept NAW

Dude is having a hell of a season in ATL, averaging 17.3 points per game. I think using him as a throw in for the CJ trade, in hindsight, was a dumb move, one that doesn't get talked about all that much(because there's been so many).

While Jaxson Hayes is still the same player as he was when we drafted him, NAW has turned into a very good guard and one that can consistently give you 15-20 a night.

I think of all the players we drafted in 2019, he'll end up with the best career.
I mean im a nobody, but I stated several times, (and got flamed for it) that we would have the worst record in the league. This wasnt hard to see coming, for anyone who was objective and honest.

I guess you know more than the front office does

Not hard to know more than our front office..
I dont think the Saints will ever be moved out, but i could easily see a future where the Pelicans are sold and moved. The most hard-core of fans of the Pels barely care enough to watch now. Dumars and Gayle have crushed any fan interest.
quote:

There was a very loud vocal minority defending this trade non stop.

quote:

People post how bad it is every day, many times a day. I counter every so often. So your point doesn't make any sense. For every pro-trade post, there are literally 20+ saying how bad it is. Just because you don't agree doesn't change the raw numbers.

His point makes perfect since, if you know what a 'minority' is.
quote:

You had people on here saying the trade wasn’t that bad, we have a playoff roster and the pacers were still a playoff team. Anyone with half a brain knew this was going to blow up

Dantheman was the main one defending the trade ad nauseum, notice he's been MIA since the season started..

Bmark is such a fool, he's still here defending the trade:lol:
