Kind of hard to be a starter in the league when you're always getting hurt in training camp, Kenneth.

Isn't the deadline less than 3 weeks away?

Basketball players move a lot more than a wr playing 60 snaps a game

That fat arse is throwing his career away by coming into camp out of shape every year and getting hurt because of it.

Am I doing it right?

Seattle Climax, new relocation rebrand coming soon, if this is the type of injury luck we are going to have this season.

If it’s going to happen I’d rather it happen now where he’s still got 3 weeks to recover for the start of the season. I doubt he’s ready to go for the first game but maybe we get him back sometime in early to mid November.

This team is cursed

I really don't think the team is cursed. I do believe that the good players/superstars they get to come to New Orleans none of them ever materialize because of 1. The culture, 2. This organization isn't serious about winning.

The good players come and give their all when the entire time the organization don't want to do what is necessary to win. During that time, they wear down their bodies and obtain injuries.

Lets look at some of the players who came and eroded like a bad tooth. Anthony Davis,CP3, Jrue Holiday, Josh Hart, DeMarcus Cousins, Peja, Jamal Mashburn, Baron Davis, David West. All of which have flourished in other places and on other teams.

We should be celebrating because one can't be a real Pelican without an off-season soft tissue injury. Trey has passed his final test so he can now sign an extension.

consider what?

It irritates me that he hasn't signed his extension yet. I don't know what the hell they are waiting for, but it shoudl have been signed months ago.

Not getting back on the court faster than scheduled. He could potentially cost himself millions if he significantly hurts himself even more.

Idk its a weird spot for him to be in and the team should have already taken care of him (extension speaking), now unless there is some sort of guarantee, you are going to play this dumb game of preservation (whether its TM3 preserving his 150M dollars or more, or the team trying to pull a fast one)

This is why the trading of BI was not needed.

He can fill in three positions and injuries always happen.

Trey doesn't have anythign to prove to the team. We all know who he is and his worth.

For sure, TM3 injury shows that. He won't be out an extended period but in the interim, depth sure looks a lot different. Bench becomes Jose, Hawk, Green, and one of the bigs.

He doesn't deserve the contract that people on here want us to give him.

Injury-prone and is more streaky than good.

I'm pretty sure you're trolling here but on the off chance you aren't: He may not have earned the next contract yet but that doesn't mean he doesn't deserve it. On anywhere from 10-15 different teams he's been a full time starter for two years. For us he's had to come off the bench because Griff couldn't make the tough decision and move Ingram last off season or early last year like he should have. He's been for the most part a much better starter than bench reserve for whatever reason and I think had he been playing 32-36 minutes a game as a starter for the last two years we're probably giving him a bigger deal than he's eventually gonna sign. His floor is a bigger hyper athletic Duncan Robinson who doesn't get played off the floor with his defense. That is a very expensive player. His ceiling is All Star and that typically is a max guy. We're gonna end up paying him somewhere in the middle of that.

You're about to catch some heat for this, but people have been way too eager to elevate Trey, so they ignore all of his flaws. It's why you have posters screaming all off-season to dump BI for a pile of shite because he had a bad playoff series, wanting Trey, who was far worse in that series, to replace him.

Trey is our backup QB for those people.

See Exhibit A directly above.

Because he still struggles to create his own shot and in 1v1 situations. He also plays better with bigger rebounders on the floor.

Essentially he plays better with the starters because its easier and they help/ hide some of his flaws.

I love Trey but he still has alot to prove and work on.

His last (2) years he's averaged:
14.5pts/ 3.6reb/1.4ast
14.9pts/ 4.9reb/ 2.2ast
22.7pts/ 5.3reb/5.7ast (this is BI's 2 year average)

Trey does not pull defenders or facilitate like BI does which makes him easier to scheme against.

Trey doesn't have to be a great facilitator if he rebounds, develops a good mid range, and gets to the basket. Those 3 things happen this year then yeah I think he can be that guy.
