re: Where's the love for the D?

Something about your mom loves the d
He played 15:27 in the first half he was 2/7, then he played 8:05 in the third and went 0/4. If you're not making shots, and you don't play defense, then you don't need to be in the game when its close and ending.

he still played 27 minutes and shot 3/14 1/6 from 3
yeah he had a good game, way to point it out. how about the 2 games since, and 1 game before that. total between the 3 games: 31 points, on 7/36 shooting 19%
somebody put a stat up at some point last year that Jaxson Hayes played more games as pelican than Zion and he'd been gone years. Not sure if that still true, but its astounding
Boston looking for their first win also.
Ant hasn't missed seasons worth of injuries, so I don't really see the correlation
Maybe he likes it because he has a highest ortg and he proud

sure don’t recall seeing these threads pop up last year

Every time Dyson has a good game some the made a thread about it.

no matter how well we do

are ya'll doing well? 3-3-1? on the way to 8-8 lol yeah
Yeah we will see b he is pretty bad at basketball. But some team might gamble on his shooting. I really don't want him getting any minutes on this team at all tho.

Jonathan Issac obviously.

Jk

Ok Paolo is good and might turn out to be great. but Orlando still isn't winning anything with him. They won 47 two years ago, 41 last year.

My main point is if you're expecting a lottery pick to turn you into a contender then you will always be disappointed.

Ok I'll give you Edwards. But Orlando win 41 games last year for 7th seed in the East and I can argue Paolo isn't their best player.

Most lottery picks turn into career bench/rotation guys. You put too much value in a draft pick. Even the number 1 pick from past several years not counting cooper or Victor aren't turn your team around super stars. If we do win 25 games that's probably have us picking between 5-9 anyway. Ask Washington or Charlotte how it works out for them being perennial lottery teams. We made two lottery picks this year and if needed can trade into the lottery next year. If we only made one pick this and one pick next year guess what that's still only 2 lottery picks.
