Easier than I thought
quote:

Prominent "No Experience" Hires:
Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors, 2014): Despite having no coaching experience, Kerr immediately led the Warriors to a dynasty.
Jason Kidd (Brooklyn Nets, 2013): Hired immediately after retirement, he led the team to the playoffs in his first season.
Steve Nash (Brooklyn Nets, 2020): Hired without coaching experience, compiling a 101-76 record.
JJ Redick (Los Angeles Lakers, 2024): Hired with no coaching experience in the NBA, college, or international levels.
Doc Rivers (Orlando Magic, 1999): Jumped to head coach after retiring from playing.
Larry Bird (Indiana Pacers, 1997): Led the Pacers to success despite no prior coaching background.

Steve Kerr-- Steph Cury Klay, Igudala, Draymond
Jason Kidd-- KG paul Pierce, the nets won 4 less games this year than previous year
Steve Nash- KD James Harden Kyrie Irving
JJ Redick-- Lebron James

Were these coaches the driving force of the teams successes? or was it players?

There are no superstars on this roster to carry a rookie no experience coach to expection these kinds of results
if its between boston and us, do you think rondo winning a championship in boston would sway him to that decision?

I'm not on Ingrams side. He is a ball stopper, losing basketball player. Why am I even comparing him to Tatum anyway? Weird morning, my apologizes everyone please continue, don't mind me.

Yeah as long as it doesn't meet your narrative it can be waved off I know.

Embiid said he was faking acting like he was hurt. Both Tatum and Ingram didn't play game 7. Both their teams were eliminated. If ingram plays they probably loose any way. If Tatum played. They likely win.

Tatum sat for game 7

I'm not an Ingram fan. Dudes a bum. Just saying
thank god. I had every expectation this would suck, but I really enjoyed it. but only 9 eps? come on I need more c bear and 2 chiefs
At least it seems like they are actually searching and not just handing the keys over to Ham. Maybe it's just for show. We will see
Why is this even a thread? This is pelicans board, not saints and David Grifin doesn't work there anymore. you suck.
well we're winning 82 next year so i'll say over

damn it I'm in
Like we didn't just sweep Portland in the play offs year before.
And do you think the 4-5 years isn't enough time to develop? Or do college players come in to the league at peak skill and he is who he is going to be?
Queens play this year he should have been top 4 pick, Flagg, Kon, VJ and Queen he slide to 13 we scooped him up. Who knows where we would pick next year could be 1 could be 10. Let Queen and Fears grow together, they will be running the league in 4-5 years. Were SGA and Jokic MVPS in their rookie years? did they even win rookie of the year? No. Your problem is you think everything at this moment is the final form.
It's like ad said the other night. Fans wanting a microwave result in a crockpot situation. Be disgruntled by certain moves sure. But if you have 0 hope in the future then why even care or follow? Leave the board and go cheer for thunder or celtics. Or what ever other team is winning at the moment

yeah imagine thinking a 19 year coming into the nba already having to be at peak skill level. if he's not all nba his rookie season he's a bust and can't improve any!
