I think Butler would fit better.

Lillard, he would be a perfect fit.

Kawhi, Giannis, and Durant would be great fits as well imo

I'm talking about people rumored to be on the trade maket, dumb fukk. A package with Niko's expiring, Moore, Jackson, and two 1sts are a good starting point.

I am annoying. I am arrogant. I am hard headed and condescending. Impatient. Wrong with opinions at times. All those things I am cool with. Fraud? nah. And when that kind of stuff gets tossed around, it makes me remember that this kind of stuff isn't worth my very valuable time. It's not an emotional thing. It's actually quite logical. Stuff like that reminds me that I get absolutely no benefit from doing this with my time, so I dip out for a while. Sometimes a short while. Sometimes a long while.

I think I would still do it. However, Dallas must want a lot more if you are saying they are being delusional.

They are being delusional not with their asking price, but in their refusal to trade because they think they have a shot at the playoffs in Dirk’s last hurrah. (They don’t)

I have also heard from Dallas folks that Barnes is really well liked there. He is supposedly a stand up locker room guy and a favorite of Carlisle, Nelson, and Cuban because of his behind the scenes attitude/leadership.

The more I have had time to think about it, the more I really wonder if Randle is going to have offers of more than 10 mil next year. Even if he plays well. Some teams will have money. Mostly bad teams. And we have seen over and over again that big men are devalued on the market. Especially ones who aren't shooters.

I keep coming back to this thinking with how non-spacing bigs are valued these days especially if they aren’t premier rim protectors, but then I really didn’t see Rondo getting $9M in this cap crunched offseason either. It only takes one team, but hopefully Randle loves playing with AD in our fast paced offense and wants to come back. I do believe he is going to thrive here.

My hope is that next season, he opts out and then re-signs a 1+1 starting at 10 mil. We have a wink, wink deal with him because we would have Early Bird rights in summer of 2020, where we don't have to use cap space and can start him at about 18 million per that summer

thanks for keeping us in the loop man.

Seriously, these ninkompoops don’t even realize there’s only one poster with actual sources within an NBA franchise on this entire site. At least the only one that shares.

ETA: I’m still going to be an a-hole to you when you start belittling people for no reason

Appreciate your input.

When we have 95% of the media always trying to send someone from the Pels somewhere else, it's nice to have someone actually giving info that were trying to GAIN someone here. Even if it may not work out.

I know you usually have your eye on a few cheap, high ceiling type guys. You see anyone out there right now that catches your eye?

Nwaba, Bryn Forbes, Noah Vonleh, Bruno Cabalco, Jordan Mickey, Wade Baldwin kinda guys

Do you have a favorite affordable PG left?

He’s brought up JJ Barea and Yogi Ferrell as possible gets.

Now that I’ve looked into Nwaba I like him. We need more length than he provides but I like his toughness.

My favorite is Barea. One year deal, can come in off the bench for 20 minutes per game and just go 1000 miles an hour.

Others will try to champion for younger guys, but I think whoever comes in will only be there for a year, so I don't care about their "potential"

This is why I think guys like J Jack, Jamal Crawford, Corey Brewer, etc are much more likely than the young guys others seem to want to give the spot to. You don't want to try to develop Jackson, Payton, and someone like Nwaba simultaneously. You want to bring in a guy who knows who he is and is just gonna do what he's been doing the last few years

I like Jamal Crawford do you think we have a shot at him or do you think he is more likely to go more of a title contending team.

Looks like Crawford may go to the 6ers. He’d be a good get for a minimum deal for this team.

Definitely wouldn’t mind Barea.

Wouldn’t mind CBrew either as a vet presence and his defense. But damn is he a bad 3pt shooter.

I wouldn’t mind Shelvin Mack for a year. Has good assist numbers last season.

How is he defensively?

Another guy I would be interested in is D.J. Augustin but I honestly don’t know his salary situation offhand.

Looks like Augustin is signed through 2020 at $7.5mil. Could be a good piece this year that we dump next to clear salary.

Any of these FA's would help: Mbah a Moute, Bjelica, Ennis, Monroe, Napier, Nick Young, Jahlil Okafor.
