ScoopB: FO would prefer to package Poole and Hawk for center. TMIII price starts at 3 1’s

What team doesn't want their 5 who makes somewhere in the vicinity of $30-40M/yr, and are ok with taking back just expiring contracts, which basically says they aren't interested in winning this year?

Are the Sixers really going to call it quits on Embiid?

So many teams have already made big moves so the pool of teams looking to do something like this has to be rather small.


I'd love to know who the frick they are targeting here. I'm sure it's a 5 who can't shoot to save his life.


Here's who i would think are somewhat remote possibilities, ignoring the fact that most of these players teams aren't interested in taking back expiring contracts only b/c they are still wanting to win now, and i'm not interested in any of them.

I think you view this as two seperate transactions.

Move tm3 for picks and assets (let's say role players and 3 1sts)

When the time comes you move Poole and hawk with an asset (a 1st)

You come out with depth, a center, and assets to shuffle.

If we can turn Poole and Hawk into a starting NBA center, Joe better not think twice.

I’m sure Joe needs both phones to answer all the calls for Poole and Hawk……but hey if it happens I’ll be thrilled.
