Interesting that Bucks aren’t top 6.

Depth of the team really helps put us in this position. If stars continue to rise the occasion, we can make some serious noise. Celtics look unstoppable right now though.

Stretch run question: Is Zion Williamson finding his next leap? Zion has hit another gear. If this is going to be him the rest of the season and into the playoffs, my goodness, the Pelicans are going to be trouble. Over his last 16 games, Zion is contributing the typical 23.8 points on 56.4 percent from the field. He’s also getting to the free-throw line nearly seven times a game. But the playmaking from Zion has been so impressive. He’s also averaging 6.6 rebounds and 6.1 assists to just 2.5 turnovers per game during this stretch too. Not knowing if he’s going to set someone up or be the bulldozer scorer he is has to make the opposition even more nervous.

The West is insane this year. If the season ended today, players like LeBron, AD, Steph Curry, Luka, Kryrie, Durant, Booker, etc… would all be playing in the play in.

Doc Rivers may have something to do with that.

The West is jumbled with five teams within 5.5 games so it's difficult to kick any of West top 5 down to a second tier. The East top tier tier is one team, Boston. If, say, the Clips and Bucks switched conferences the Bucks would likely be in top contender tier and Clips would be relegated to "brink of contention" second tier.

The last I checked, their record was considerably worse since he took over

I am not sold on OKC. I think they are destined for a first-round disappointment like the Grizzlies last season. It is rare for such a young team with no playoff experience to succeed in their first taste of the playoffs.

I agree but that doesn’t mean they can’t win a first round series. I dont think they’re winning the west but I also don’t think they’re just going to flame out in the first round.

Every finals champion has had at least 1 ; DPOY or MVP.

Herb should in theory be top two in DPOY.

SO yeah I think thats pretty fricking accurate.

Our roster has to hit 3pt shots at a decent rate in the playoffs or the refs will bounce the team as we are small market. I worry they are going to swallow the whistle when it counts on BI and Zion. The only way to fight that is our guys have to hit the open 3pt shots when BI and Zion kick it out.

Has any finals champion won without any all stars? Serious question. Would be pretty cool to see.

We have 2 tough road games B2B… let’s not get too excited… if we don’t win one of those 2, the mood (and our playoff position) could go south pretty damn quickly.

But if we win both… CHIP!

No doubt that we have to hit on all cylinders, but so does every team in the playoffs, imo.
