Absolutely wrong. And we have had this conversation already.
One guys defense was so good that he was able to get drafted in the NBA purely because of it. The other guys defense was so good that he was a top 10 pick.
What makes YOU think Herb will end up the better defender considering how real NBA draft scouts viewed their defensive/ overall potential?
Not saying Herb won’t finish a better defender but there’s absolutely nothing telling me he 100% for certain will right now. And Dyson shutting down Lebron, Doncic, etcc was a great start.

One guy was 19 and one guy was almost 23. One guy has had flashes of legitimate point guard skill and one guy is simply a slasher and cutter on offense.

Wut. Dyson wasn’t a top 10 pick because of his amazing offense my dude. His defense got him there. His potential as a whole on both sides kept him there.
The point I know I made is that Dyson is viewed as the higher potential guy while already having similar levels of skill. Him being 19 vs Herb 23 is just extra

The point I made is that one is a top 10 pick and one is a 2nd round pick. But apparently it’s weird to believe that the top 10 pick will end up more talented/ better defensively.

The sad thing is I didn’t even hype Harper up much. Dude was just getting bashed every which way and I defended him by linking an interview of Trey Murphy and Coach Collins talking him up and crediting him and his defense for the SL Win, after the same game that this board was tearing him down for. I also said he was better skill wise than Kira (which isn’t false). Then I got accused of being Jared Harper’s uncle lol.
My favorite player in the league is Alperen Sengun. Don’t get it twisted.
It was Zion, but I made a misread on him character wise. We all did unfortunately.

This board is a mess. After one week of summer league Willie called Griff and crowned Herb. As long as Willie is here Herb is his guy. Get used to it.
