Lebron flat out says that AD didn't want to play through small injuries in New Orleans because he didn't care, but he is playing through them in LA.

Jeffersons punk arse talking about nothing to play for, maybe because he was missing 2 week stretches every 20 games or so. In summary AD is still a bitch

This kind of softness pisses me off more than anything. It shows despite everything New Orleans was willing to spend to keep him, he could be ‘motivated’ enough to play.

How can any player respect him for that?

Im happy with the pieces we received in the trade, but it does suck that he not only got his way but that he also won a ring his first year with the lakers.

I can see other star players following his lead in similar fashion because in the end, no one will remember how AD fricked over the pels but pels fans.

My non-Pelican fan friends joke we me, but I’m 100% serious, it’s frick AD for good. No need to be such a bitch, he was going to get his way , why take a crap on the city that loved you through all your faults and BS. Can’t remember another player doing this on the way out.

No, and it’s his own fault

When the dust settles he probably won’t be remembered as a Laker either. Just a footnote in NBA history

For real.

And its not about him wanting out, its everything else that went on.

How Pelicans fans feel about Chris Paul is the example.

Sounds more to me like LeBron held him accountable

That's how I see it too. No one in nola would tell him shite. Its like that year him and cousins made the all-star team and ad had injury and cousins was like if you don't fricking go play I will. And davis played. No one here called him a bitch or told him to man up. Because he was our precious saviour and he had to be protected.
But lebron tells him to man up.
I just hope we don't do the same with Zion. We saw it last year but hopefully moving forward he can just play and we don't baby him along.

A blown Achilles altered their best year, & they were probably a top 5 in the league. With Cousins, top 3.

AD’s tenure here will be linked by the Cousins injury and front office mistakes as much as his softness.

He certainly didn’t help the situation by not being a vocal leader.

The fanbase is split on him, those who support him, and those with longer memories of his punk arse being a bitch.

Easily the most significant injury in the history of the franchise.

I still remember Paul's parting shots. frick that bitch. Not sure I dislike any former Hornet/Pelican more than Paul and AD. Birdman is the first distant 3rd that springs to mind.

He'd hinted at it before, but during the latest All The Smoke, podcast, Paul George says AD had agreed to push for a trade to Indy in 2017, but the Pacers front office shot it down.

This is the offseason AFTER the Boogie trade, btw, and pre achilles . But, if AD and PG had already been talking about this for a while, it could be the reason Demps swung for Boogie, trying to prevent a trade demand.

Also, PG comes off HORRIBLY during that interview. In the first 10 minutes, I lost count of the number of excuses he came up with. Dude blamed the lack of balconies in the hotel they were in.

Off the top of my head?

-Flopping in every game.
-a history of nut punching that goes from his high school career into the pros
-tattle telling on opposing player with untucked jerseys, resulting in multiple techs across the league.
-his jealousy of Marcus Thornton’s popularity in New Orleans.
-deferring to Pargo in crunch time when he was at an MVP level.
-sneaking into the Clippers locker room to fight the team post game after being told not to go in there
-negotiating changes in the CBA so he and his friends can make more money late in their career, thus taking money away from younger players
-his antagonist style of play, including late in the game where Cousins popped his Achilles.

And on and on...

The dude sucks as a person, & is a great basketball player.

I’d rather Kyle Lowry, prime Mike Conley, Steve Nash, etc, before him as a teammate.

Also, Team Rondo 4 Life

Some of those things you listed are just sneaky smart things whether he's a douche or not. Rondo also can be like that too. I'd still take prime CP3 over Rondo or Conley. Lowry might be a toss up and Nash is the OG winner. But agree he sucks as a person and is a great basketball player. That doesn't sum up much as far as the NBA goes...
