It's gonna be sad to see Naji out of a Pels jersey

Dude is going to get paid this offseason and no way we can afford him. Naji ball could get frustrating at times but he always plays hard on defense and comes up with timely hustle plays. He's also been a great lockerroom guy. We're lucky to have him as the 3rd or 4th guy off the bench.

He has made a big jump this year so far. I’ll admit I didn’t think he’d become this valuable but it’s clicking right now for him.

Love Naji, seems to be a great teammate and always plays hard.

Naji become good when he realised he shouldn’t play like a star with iso ball , taking difficult shots etc. instead realised that he can be an amazing role player. Hitting open threes , playing hard D and making the right passes . Picking his moments is key as well . He became less worried about his stats and more worried about the result

He's having a really strong start to the season but he'll most likely level out as the season wears on. I still think we're in position to keep him if we really wanted to.

He goes through stretches of being Naji Jordan and stretches where he is borderline unplayable. I think the inconsistency is why we get him on a solid deal long term to be that 9th guy or so.

That combined with his minutes getting taken back by CJ and Trey will most likely keep him under 5 mil a season which is the most I can pay him even if he maintains this

if he weren’t playing, we lose tonight’s game and another game a week ago.

He’s been clutch.

I don’t know if Naji will get a whole lot of money in the off-season.

Sure he’s been playing his arse off, but there’s some guys that just won’t make over minimum deals no matter what, especially now that teams are limited even more by the tax. Look at Oubre, averaged 20 ppg last year and had to settle for a minimum contract with 6ers

I think he could potentially get a tax payer MLE, 2/12 mil or so. I don’t think he’s getting a full MLE and I don’t think teams will use cap space on him.

Most of the tax teams will be those second apron teams that don’t have access to MLE, so that will be hard for him to come by also.

I could see him ending up on a minimum deal but for another team thats not a very good team and could guarantee him huge minutes, which is the main thing we can’t do. I think Jose may end up leaving for this same reason also, especially with the emergence of Dyson.

He’s hit a couple of clutch threes lately.

He has hit big threes against Denver and last night. He had the best +/- on the team by far last night. However, I just don’t know where Naji’s minutes come from when trey and CJ are back.

Gonna have nights where someone's gonna dnp (Naji, Jose) due to match ups. Smaller guards will get Jose. More wings will get Naji.

Gotta make hard choices unfortunately and paying Trey Murphy is priority #1, 2 and 3. We may very well have to package someone like Dyson with a draft pick if we go after a bigger name but Jonas’ deal is up this year too I believe. There’s going to be a big trade coming either at the deadline or in the offseason. They may even try trading BI which I think is a mistake. He and Zion clearly have good chemistry they have just never had the chance to show it. The little they did last year they were either at the top of the west or #2. This is all without CJ and Trey.

Naji is 10/19 from 3 on the season. It’s a small sample size but it seems that his 3 ball has improved. Appears to be a great locker room guy and teammate. Would love to keep him around but it’s going to be hard with all of our other young talent that needs to get paid.
