I would somewhat understand this most preseasons, but not one where we have a new player running the offense.

I don't think they have trades lined up and I also don't think they are planning to bench BI. It really doesn't make sense to do this unless Trey was healthy and you were trying to pick between Trey and someone else.

After preseason Griff should go to him and say “Well BI, I have lowered your offer down to a 4/80. See, I was prepared to say screw it and go ahead and pay you a full max deal, but you didn’t play in preseason so I decided that just wasn’t in the cards anymore”

Nic Claxton is the guy I keep my eye on but it would take multiple teams I think and someone would also need to take on Bojan to get them out the tax
