This is probably why we were unable to make a deal for Buddy Hield. The Kings owner wants Siakam or Simmons, and they need to use Buddy's salary.

We’re told Dallas finished second behind the Heat for Lowry; he was intrigued by the Mavericks, who were willing to meet his price tag, but he preferred playing with Jimmy Butler in Miami.

New Orleans was willing to go to $90 million over three years or more, according to a source, but Lowry never leaned toward going there, according to the source. Lowry took three years and $85 million from Miami.

Not a surprise. Sad thing is that Griff was not able to figure it out earlier.

But I do like his basketball related takes and rationale. Have to admit that I like his, as I perceive them, level headed and well thought out opinions about the team.

He's had some real bad ones.

Like really fricking bad recently lol.

Honestly... frick these guys

Tired of chasing after these clowns that "just want to win (as long as it's on one of these two teams)"

Build the team around Ingram

Big time, Klutch and Nerlens Noel all over again.

He should have taken that 4/84 and ran.

I'm convinced it's a Pels staffer that has had to listen to Griff a lot.

The Lakers ability to fall arse-backwards into success is really awe inspiring. My old favorite example was them signing Boogie to play big minutes, but he blows out his knee before the season and they are forced to sign Dwight and play McGee more instead. Having Schroeder turn down 4/84 is the new standard now. I don’t know what human sacrifice Pelinka made to the NBA gods to constantly get saved from himself, but we need to get some of that juju

Everyone in any kind of job should know how much they are really worth to their employer and on the open market. Understanding that is a basic factor in success in life.

Are we at all connected to Paul Milsap?

He’s still available and may be a cheaper option. At least I’d assume so given the market has shriveled a bit. He can also shoot, he can’t defend the 4 and would provide a veteran presence.

Granted I don’t know wxactly what his market looks like, nor if he would have interest in New Orleans. Just trying to throw out alternatives

With the way the roster is currently lined up, I doubt you see any moves prior to the transaction involving Hart.
