Free agent Spencer Dinwiddie is headed to the Washington Wizards on a three-year, $62 million contract via sign-and-trade, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

His contract ended up being structure a little different than reported. It is actually only 3 years/$45 million guaranteed. If he plays in 50 games in each of the 1st 2 seasons, $10 million of non-guaranteed money in the last season becomes guaranteed. He also has $7.5 million of incentives over the life of the contract.

That's a strange contract.

Set up that way to protect Washington if Dinwiddie continues to have injury issues I assume.

According to Mac, we had an offer out to Oubre when he chose Charlotte...we can't even give away money to people that are from here now.

Yeah- we had a 2/20 offer out to Oubre. Charlotte beat it and now its round out the roster time
Another Mac BS claim. Per Oubre's agent, the only teams with offers to Oubre-

Ian Begley
@IanBegley
The following teams made offers to Kelly Oubre Jr., per his agent, Torrel Harris of
@UniqueSportsMGM
: Lakers, Clippers, Milwaukee, Denver, Brooklyn, Portland. Oubre signed a 2-year, $25 million deal with the Hornets.

Guess Mac is so much of an insider, that he knows more about Oubre's offers than his agent.

People quit fricking posting shite from a guy that makes muffins in his wife’s bakery. He has no sources and is constantly wrong.

Seriously, why in the world are people constantly posting here what he's tweeting?

I guess a lack of actual Pelican insiders will lead to people clinging to anyone that even pretends to have knowledge. Mac’s track record is awful since the Griffin regime, yet people continue to post his Twitter musings as if he has any credibility.

Mac as an insider is questionable at this point. As a dude, I got no time for him personally.

But I do like his basketball related takes and rationale. Have to admit that I like his, as I perceive them, level headed and well thought out opinions about the team.

I have to agree with everything he’s ever said? Is there anyone on the fricking planet you agree with everything they’ve ever said on a subject?

Former Nets assistant general manager Bobby Marks posted on his Instagram that the NBA is going "to nail" the Chicago Bulls for the sign and trade agreement involving Lonzo Ball.

Marks: "You couldn't wait until 6:30 or 6:45. That can't happen. You have to be smarter."
This tweet has been making its way through Pelicans twitter, but for some reason people are just ignoring the part where he says we're getting hammered too. A lot of people are talking about this like its just a Bulls issue. Or even talking about what compensation we might get out of this.

He clearly says we're getting hit hard, too, not just Chicago.

I quoted some of the things he said when there was a debate of us taking either Brown or Grizz unprotected pick in a thread someone bumped. He ended up being wrong on every single take he had lol.

Cliff notes, didn’t think a Celtics package of Brown and Tatum was no where near as good as the Lakers package. Didn’t like Tatum as a player at all, really Brown either, said he would try to trade him. Didn’t think you can have a foundation of those two together on a team. And said he’d take the Memphis pick over Brown if he had the choice.

The pick ended up being Nesmith and Brown and Tatum are Allstar teammates…..
That’s batting .000 right there….

Yeah that thread was bad.

Most people on this board said they would take the grizzlies pick over brown.
