The wing depth is still troublesome to me. Need to add a wing even if it’s just a reclamation project.

Is it possible that we could see either Zion or Melli play some SF if we don't sign another guy? This would make sense if we did happen to sign Baynes. Not saying it would work out but we could run some interesting lineups with BI at SG and Zion at SF.

I think we all know our season was wrecked from the start with the injuries to both Favors and Zion at the same time. We never intended to have Jaxon play last year. If Adams were to go down next season, I don’t believe anyone can be comfortable with Hayes as our starting 5. Our defense and rebounding would completely go out the window.

I would argue that after Zion, an injury to Adams would be the single most catastrophic event for our 2021 season as the roster sits today.

Like I said Baynes has a different skill set so I wouldn’t hate it.

At this point I’d like to take a chance on Giles.

I will point out that Bazemore is still out there.

That’s funny. Knicks fans really disliked him this past season for his shortcomings.

I am becoming increasingly curious as to Griffin’s plan at this point.

That would be a really good pickup. Decent shooter and a good defender, but he’s not really a SF. He’s not that big.

Feels kind of on-brand then.

Yeah I know. He’s only 6’5” I think.

Just trying to figure out options here.

It’s not the height, b/c he has long arse arms, it’s his weight/strength.
Jrues weight/strength is what made him capable of guarding SFs effectively, despite being shorter.

Eh, there's no way that they can stay in front of most wings in the league.

But we have Lonzo and NAW at 6'6" and can play 3-guard lineups. There's been lots of talk about permanently moving Zo to SF.

We have to just assume that the trade is holding up all of our moves at this point.

I think it’s just pending the Jrue trade. I don’t know what’s holding that up, although it does seem convoluted AF.

Denver has pulled the qualifying offer on forward Torrey Craig, which allows him to become an unrestricted free agent, source tells ESPN. The Nuggets have valued Craig, but ran out of roster spots for him.

Nuggets pulled the QO on Torrey Craig, would be a nice wing addition.
