Rozier just posted a video that sounds like he’s been traded and Lonzo has been interacting about jersey numbers with Malk Monk and LaMelo Ball ??

apparently the lonzo interaction was about letting lamelo get #1 from monk. monk said he cant do that. then they cut batum who was #5 and monk said now he can

Not going to pretend I know enough about Craig to have an informer opinion. We are pretty desperate for wing help and a lot of people seem to think somewhat highly of him but his shooting numbers are all around blah.

His offense is trash. Supposedly he’s a good defender but he’s not gonna get many steals or blocks

I am pretty convinced there is a plan to add one more contributor that doesn’t involve Free Agency.

We will see. I like the moves so far.
I am worried about: wing depth and team shooting. Currently lacking both a bit if you’re looking top to bottom.

I think Ball will be sent out in the coming days. Not sure anything happens until the Adams deal is official though

Th only confusing thing really is who will be the starting guards. You have 3 guys that run point and all have the talent to start (yes I'm projecting with Lewis).
Bledsoe doesn't have the height to guard 2s effectively. Lewis doesn't have the weight. So does Ball play SG on D but run the point? Or does Ball become full time SG?.
But there is still a chance either Ball or Bledsoe get moved. If it came to that I'd rather keep Ball.
At least we are 2 deep at all the other positions.

Listen to the Lowe podcast where SVG talks about Lonzo before he was hired.
He basically says he see Lonzo as more of a 2 guard, pushing the pace and the ball up the court, and that's when he's at his best. He's not that good at slowing down the game and running a half court offense.

If Lonzo's in the game he's the 1 on offense. He's the best distributer on the team.

I like Lonzo Ball. I can see him improving. The guy wants to improve. Ingram and Ball after the flight or a bad game wants to go workout and do some drills with Fred Vinson. Like how many players are willing to do that?

Only in limited scenarios where the play is already obviously unfolding.
He can't collapse defences or create new wrinkles with any consistency, limiting his creativity and ability to get the get the defence on the back foot.
BI and Zion are both better distributors in the half court

His contract is almost up and he’s a Ball so he will be seeking to get freaking PAID. You gonna pay this dude 80-100 mill?
That’s why I’d move on.
