The list of those I would like to have seen but never really had the opportunity is probably too long to list.
it's the missed opportunity stories that are interesting.

That's how I took it, but the OP was not clear.

If I was only old enough to have experienced The Warehouse in New Orleans, I wouldn’t have a single regret not seeing any artist. Unfortunately, it was a bit before my time. Alas, my list is very long.

Violent Femmes. I saw the sign advertising the show at The Varsity, but had not heard of them yet. Within 2 weeks I was playing them every Day.
X. I should have tried harder.

Matter of fact (except for tom petty) I’ve seen pretty much all of my favorites that were playing while I was alive, I only wish I’d have seen them more often. Now that I’m retired I plan to stop making that mistake

Second to the made opportunity stories, of course.
Dear god, 1993 Def Leppard at UNO. Case in point.

Same. It was the night of my college graduation. I had loved them all through high school but never got into The Division Bell. My girlfriend wanted us to drive down and get tickets at the box office as my graduation gift to myself. I decided I wanted to go to a party, which turned out very lame. We sat around and listened to CCR’s Chronicle on a shitty living room stereo.
Everytime I hear that album I have regret.
Also - DLR era Van Halen 1984 tour. I got into them really heavy I think right after they came to Baton Rouge. I didn’t make the mistake missing them when they toured for 5150, but I hardly knew the songs and they only played 4 classic era songs.
