Floyd in ‘94 - it was high school graduation. I begged to go but parents wouldn’t cave and let me skip graduation.
Petty - missed countless opportunities.
Bob Weir, the Wolf Bros and the orchestra at the Saenger is the most recent regret.

Finally crossed em off my list a few months ago, thankfully. Amazing show.

upon further review, the band I most regret not seeing live is REM
October 2, 1984: McAlister Auditorium, Tulane University, New Orleans
November 19, 1985: Saenger Performing Arts Theater, New Orleans
September 12, 1986: Saenger Performing Arts Theater, New Orleans
I was a student at Loyola, we played the first two albums constantly, but ticket money was hard to come by. If I had a do over, those are the shows I would make certain I saw come hell or high water

My biggest regrets I can recall offhand are Mark Lanegan Band in 2019 and Soulsavers with him in 2009.
I technically saw Lanegan sing with Screaming Trees some from a distance at Lolla, but I don't count that.
RIP Dark Mark

Alice Cooper was next on the list.
2nd show I ever saw 1977. Front row, center stage
He had just acquired Davey Johnstone and Nigel Olsson from Elton John's band.

A band I would have absolutely loved to have seen is FREE in the early 70's. Everything was raw and pure then.

Huey Lewis and the News.
Now that Huey has Ménière's disease, my chances are now zero. It's honestly a huge regret in my life.

King Crimson with Captain Beyond as the opener in Baton Rouge in 73. We were in Baton Rouge that day but decided to go see Uriah Heep in New Orleans that same night. Heep was great as it was the last show of the tour. Mick Box smashed his guitar, but damn, King Crimson AND Captain Beyond. Still kinda pissed at myself.
