I wonder if you taught me in a class. UHS '77. Sorry to hear my alma mater is in dire straits, but their commitment to excellence in athletics over academics led me to stop contributing money a few years back. We won the 1974 state football championship without recruiting and paying players from other parts of the state.
ETA: UHS was way harder than Camp LSU.

This is why live music is the best! You don't have to be a fan of the artist to have a great time at the show. It's all about capturing the spirit and living in the moment. Good on you! Mine would've been a George Thurogood show. I'm not a fan, but we had a blast at the show.

The scale and quantity is so staggering that I simply can't really include it in the corpus of "popular music". That's too much of a downgrade. It was world-changing, revolutionary art in nearly every respect and the world is still digesting the reverberations.
