Absolutely retarded take. McVie has some great vocals in songs where she leads (Everywhere), some great backing vocals for Lindsey and Stevie in others, wrote or co-wrote several of the big hits, and was a key instrumentalist in the band too

I read the OP like 3 times and I’m thinking he’s trying to say Fleetwood Mac is not a top 100 (maybe?) band? I have no idea.

But Stevie might be one if the great ones. Fleetwood Mac is just different. I love most of their music. They’re no AC/DC or GNR, but they are way way better than Dave Matthews Band or Smashing Pumpkins.

I DGAF about genre quibbling, they have at least a few songs that could easily be on a Top 100 of all time any genre list.

I have worked with two young black men in their 20s that listen to exactly what you'd expect on their own time, but when a Fleetwood Mac song has been on the radio either turned it up or knew the song and enjoyed it. Go Your Own Way, The Chain, and Don't Stop tanscend races and generations

Yeah Stevie was literally bewitching a whole generation of horny dudes. She was the one with the magic. They all had it to a degree but she was the muse. And she was the voice.

McVie was a better singer than Nicks in my opinion. However, Stevie has a really trademark voice quality that stands out.

When Nicks sings I always hear South Park Stevie. Give me Maggie Adams with Foxes and Fossils on "Landslide" any hour, day, month, year, century.

Stevie is terrible enough to go to Walter Reed hospital and give disabled veterans a free radio. Shame on her.

I think they’re Top 100 already, just could be 100 times better with less Christine lead vocals.

Probably not considering Christine also wrote.

McVie was described as "the prime mover behind some of Fleetwood Mac's biggest hits"

One could argue they became as big as they did after adding her.

If you ever saw them live you’d know what a shitty take this is. Christine (RIP in peace) was a gifted singer. Heavenly voice and always in tune. She could sing lead and backup effortlessly. I’d bet you’re not noticing her contributions to much of Fleetwood Mac’s music

No Christine McVie? She had a beautiful voice,

How can you possibly be that asinine?

They'd be a lot less iconic without McVie.

The next time Stevie Nicks hits the correct pitch will be the first time. Give me Christine McVie 100 times out of a 100.
