Yes. Here it is.

You should see the shite kids wear to school. And it’s kids that come from homes with parents around. Shits insane.
My daughter went to Catholic schools at which the students wore very modest uniforms, but their CYO dances and school parties were a very different story, where inappropriate mini-dresses, thigh high stockings and high heels prevailed. At the high school dances girls would wear sexy costumes, such as Wonder Woman, Super Girl, and Cat Woman. But at church for mass the next morning they were back in modest dress, as though the night before occurred in a parallel universe.

Today is also the birthday of another "Bond girl", Kim Basinger, who portrayed "Domino" in Never Say Never Again. My daughter has one of these vintage tiger print swimsuits in her collection of swimwear. One of her little actress acquaintances, Holli Coleman, portrayed the title child in the Basinger film Bless The Child. We once got to spend an afternoon hanging out in her trailer on set eating pralines.

Dang. I've never seen a pair of headlights like that on a dragster car before, and with the high beams on.

We cannot neglect to recognize today's birthday girl, Teri Hatcher, another Bond "girl"/woman.

Ever hear of the "Birkin" bag, a roomy handbag made by luxury leather goods design company Hermes? While taking an Air France flight, Jane Birkin complained that she couldn't get a handbag big enough. The man next to her suggested that she get one with pockets, to which she replied, "Hermes doesn't make one with pockets." The man then declared, "But I am Hermes!" as he was Jean-Louis Dumas, the CEO of Hermes International. He then drew a sketch of a handbag and promised to produce it and name if after her if she agreed. This original prototype handbag he made for her was sold at auction just a few months ago for $10.1 Million.

Had a laugh cause I thought you meant a daughter making $100K and I wondered which club she was stripping in. Not that I would patronize such an establishment. Great ambition for your son, but there is some value to being closer to family.

pic of girlfriend?
All of my personal photos of her were long before digital photography and are in a scrapbook. I have pics of her in elementary and high school, sitting on the hood of her first car, tailgating with me at football games, in newspaper articles and in a bikini at my apartment pool. One of her daughters is a virtual clone, but taller (one likely reason she did not win was being 5'2" while Rhonda was 5'6"). I just pulled up her social media and don't see a suitable photo of her, but to give you some appreciation, this is her look-a-like daughter at about 40? A wedding photo.

I discovered those performances many years ago, as Whiter Shade is one of my all-time favorite songs.

Daughters are the best, man. Congrats!
I was overjoyed to have any child, but as the son of a coach I had always envisioned having a boy to train for travel ball and the inevitable hall of fame major league career. Never dreamed I would have a brilliant and precocious girl and sit through dance recitals, fashion shows, and musical productions, but wouldn't trade raising her for any amount of riches. Far more entertaining and funny than anything I could have imagined.

She has been worth every penny so far. Don't expect that I will live another 30 years to take care of all of her mortgage, but I may provide for her in my will.
J/K. I'm proud of mine too. No house yet as she doesn't know where she will end up, but 28 and a doctor.

Rhonda Shear, from New Orleans, was in a few episodes of Happy Days as Fonzie's girlfriend, but Henry Winkler got her fired when she was late for a taping due to going to a film audition. Host of USA channel "Up All Night". Miss Louisiana USA, and my first girlfriend was 1st runner-up.

re: From my model bench, A-10 Warthog
Posted by LA Lightning on 12/6/25 at 7:25 pm to choppadocta
I built an A-10 many years ago*. Used to watch the 926th Tactical Fighter Group practice strafing runs when they were at Alvin Callender Field near NOLA.
165 Warthogs were deployed to Operation Desert Storm and flew over 8,100 sorties, losing 4 planes, two of which were able to return to base but lost on landing due to damage which affected control of the aircraft.
The A-10 has a backup manual control system (cables and pulleys - think driving a dumptruck without power steering). One interesting story of an A-10 in low-level ground support in Baghdad which took over a hundred hits from anti-aircraft fire and lost hydraulic controls:
The pilot managed to fly the plane an hour back to Kuwait and successfully land it. Colonel Kim Casey Campbell, a woman, who flew more than 100 combat missions in a 24 years career.
*Edit to add: a 1/24 model, not an actual airplane!

I will offer this even though I've seen you crap unnecessarily on other posters here, because I'm a nice guy nevertheless. In Louisiana there is a procedure to petition a smaller court for a declaration of title. Talk to a lawyer. My understanding is it is not complicated. I think just say the title owner is deceased or prove it and that all heirs cannot be located and abandoned vehicle or who has had possession of it since. Judge orders a title.

I have a dispute with an investment firm for its failure as a fiduciary. I know all attorneys don't have the ability to handle it due since financial is a regulated industry. Anyone have experience with Louisiana firms?

Y'all do realize that that grocery photo was obviously staged. All the products' names are facing the camera so as to be easily identified.
