can you enlighten the board? I'm curious but is there even access to most of the park? seems like mid September is the best time to visit after the crowds but before any freeze or substantial snow.

There are some nice hikes such as Devils Den state park if that interests you
Downtown Fayetteville is very walkable and nice with lots of shops, restaurants and coffee shops. Dickson st is popular on game weekends with several places to eat and drink before the game. The tailgate scene is just ok.

Crystal Bridges and the Bentonville area is worth a visit, great biking trails if that’s your thing

headed to Bozeman for some fishing and hiking. Any recs for hikes, restaurants, breweries?

I was pretty sick about the Mckight announcement and i kept thinking that Saban would have been ahead of the USC/Pete Carroll tactics. He was a good player but LSU didn’t miss out on the next Reggie Bush so that softened the blow.

Haven’t fished for trout there much but stop by the local bait and tackle shop, folks are usually helpful
In Arkansas and NC, red worms or power bait in similar shape to a small worm on a drop shot with 6-8 pound test works well. Also, mepps spinners can do the trick

If you want something less resort like and more of a mountain town, check out Buena vista and Salida. Great hiking in the area and right on the Arkansas River if you want to raft or fish. There are enough restaurants to appease the family.

Some nice airbnbs on guntersville and it’s a nice town. A couple of state parks close by with a cavern and hiking. I’m not a golfer but there are some courses in the area
