Long time favorite of mine in this vein is King Crimson's "Sleepless" with the inimitable Tony Levin on bass:

The name of the song is My City Was Gone.

For a bunch of southerners posting here I can't seem to find Hoochie Coochie Man or Whipping Post in any posts.

School Days-Stanley Clarke
Rock and Roll Jelly-Stanley Clarke and Jeff Beck.

Also, it may be practically all done with synthesizers, but Herbie Hancock's Chameoleons is definitely bass driven.

Weird. I have literally never thought of it that way. I say it's guitar driven.

Check out Lennon's isolated bass on it.

I can't find it right now, but it's somewhere on YouTube. I'll keep looking for it.

Listen close to Duran Duran’s John Taylor’s bass work on the song RIO. It’s insane.

JT fricking kills it.

Spacehog - In the Meantime is pretty solid too.

Not sure it's a bass driven song (or even a good song), but I always liked the bass line in Offspring's "Self Esteem"

And while the main bassline is on Bernie's Minimoog and not a bass guitar, you really have to include Parliment's - Flashlight
