People used to look old AF. I'm around a lot of 50 year-olds and they look like they would be the children of those actors

Smoking
I saw a lady today who was born a year earlier than me and she looks us all at 10 to 15 years older than me. And I smoked for a long time.
Smoking inside is legitimately terrible all around for you

Good grief. What's in the water we're drinking now? Very few people I know in their 40's and 50's look as old as the people in that group.

Andrea was played by 29 yr old Gabrielle Carteris. It was funny at the time.
Carol Potter (Cindy Walsh) was 42 when the show aired.
I had forgotten Brenda left after S 4.

You do the math and realize some of them had kids at 18-20 and your friends parents were actually only about 25 when you first met them. In my memories they always seemed older than that.
I’m now the same age my dad was when I was in high school. In my mind he was so much older.

That makes me feel better about myself.
My wife and I are older than every one of them but look younger.

It was tough to process when I realized at 45 or so that I was several years older than Tommy Lee Jones when he played Captain Call on lonesome dove.

Smokers.

Don't judge that by the face you see in the mirror bud. Other people see it differently.
For the record if I was in that collage I'd be the oldest by one year.

Correct. Cigarettes and that smoke are a huge part of premature aging. ITs why we as a society look much younger due to much less smoke. Even when you take the higher obesity rate into account today, we still look far younger than earlier generations.
Smoke is bad man.
