It depends on how it's handled.

No, it wouldn’t.

And the delicious part was that, to Norman Lear’s utter disgust , Archie Bunker became a folk hero Because of his frank gruff nature and unrepentant attitude.

He was a hero to the same people who thought Stephen Colbert was being himself on The Colbert Report. You know, fricking morons.

They also thought Clayton Bigsby was a hero.

While it didn't premier until 1980, Bosom Buddies would probably look more like RuPaul's Drag Race if the norms of today's Hollywood were applied to it.

If that show premiered now, Republicans would absolutely lose their minds.
I can’t believe grown men listen to these shows.

People are okay with running into/roughing the kicker/punter penalties, but they hate roughing the passer calls. You want defensive players diving into QBs knees.

You can get a penalty for literally bumping into the punter.

Take away the low hit penalty on hitting the QB in the pocket

Should they take away the low hit penalty on punters and kickers?

What does that have to do with this? Also, JD has been to an NFCCG. I would say so far, so good for those folks.

Yeah, okay, man.
Remember when this board thought the Bears were crazy for drafting Williams over Daniels? Good times.

Almost like depth played a factor.

It wasn’t depth. It was a great defensive play by a homegrown CF and HRs by a 38 year old journeyman and a homegrown catcher.

Pretty steep price for a mid year rental. You are basically getting 6 years of control on a MLB ready pitcher in Ryan and a top 30ish prospect kn baseball in Hope

That’s true. They haven’t resigned him yet. Plenty of teams could have offered more for him.
When were those games against Alabama and LSU?

All that to stay in the annual “Pre-season College Championship” hype, yet never win one, or come close?

They played in the championship game two seasons ago. That’s pretty close.

East Carolina (Only team in the 1st 5 games with a winning record in 2025) Kentucky Florida State South Carolina Mississippi State

Three of those are SEC games, so they’re basically as tough as playoff games.

Let’s see what buddy does this year when his teams average age isn’t almost 25.

Wasn’t even close to that last year.

well yeah, that's exactly it (to go along with a pathetic regular season schedule as is the case with most big10 teams

Are y’all really still doing this?
I didn’t bring up race, everybody else in this thread did.
