Does Poch stay or go?
Posted by Linoge on 7/6/26 at 10:59 pm
From USA Today:
SEATTLE — U.S. men's national team head coach Mauricio Pochettino said he is "so happy" in his current position, following the USMNT's elimination from the World Cup.
The USMNT's World Cup journey ended with a thud on Monday, as Belgium dominated Pochettino's side 4-1 at Lumen Field in the round of 16.
Pochettino's contract is up at the end of this World Cup and he has been widely expected to move on after the tournament.
But in his postgame press conference, Pochettino indicated he would be open to staying on past the World Cup.
“Now, because we were talking with the federation, [it's time] to rest a little bit, to think, to have conversation, and then see what the decision is from the federation and from us," the Argentine said."
But a report in The Athletic last month said that before this tournament, U.S. Soccer offered Pochettino an extension that would take him through the 2030 World Cup.
However, the report said the coach and his staff wouldn't make any decision until after the 2026 tournament. That's in line with what Pochettino told reporters at a roundtable last month, when he said he is "open" to staying with the U.S. but also not rushing to make a decision.
"Now we're focused on the World Cup. Then, if we want to stay, we have months to talk, or days or weeks. Because it's four years until the next World Cup," Pochettino said in late June.

Exactly. Anyone with intelligence sees this.

I am talking about hatred not riots. Two different things.
Everyone I know aggressively hates the left and everything they do. The only place i see republicans wanting to make friends with leftists is on this site, and of course in DC and the elected sellouts.

It's the extreme 10% on both sides that have nothing in common. Most people are moderate or completely disinterested in politics. Most people have plenty in common.
bullshite. I currenty live in a "diverse" area unfortunately. The muslims and hindus hate everyone who is not them.
There is zero in common. Nothing.

They are subjugating the leftist and some of the centrist white people. Alot of the women certainly.
But I promise they are not subjugating the men i know. They are getting angrier and angrier. They are also getting more confrontational in real time.
No one on the right is afraid of beign called racist or xenophobic anymore.
How does this end without major civil conflict or all out war?

Seriously? I am asking both the right and the left.
We have zero in common. We aren't the same religion. We often don't even speak the same language. We have vastly different cultures. One side believes in capitalism and the other in communism. The new arrivals don't believe in America's history and hate all White people.
Both sides are getting more and more aggressive.
"Justice" depends entirely on if you get a red or blue judge and jury. There is no equal treatment under the law. If you are a white man and you have a democrat judge you are screwed.
The only way this ends peaceably was if we deported 50 million of these people. Trump tried but the courts stopped him. Hardly anyone has been deported. They are breeding faster than rabbits while the native population birth rate has fallen sharply.
I don't see a peaceable way back. If you do please share your wisdom.

Disagree. If you lived or worked amongst the prog filth you would know it be true.
There are at least 100 million+ people in this country who hate America. Who hate that is was founded by whites, and who hate Christians.

Lol no. The progs would side with China or Russia in a heartbeat against America. If China dropped nukes on the South the prog filth would probably orgasm.
From my friend Mr Jim N. Eye:
If a vacancy occurs in a U.S. Senate seat, the rules for filling it depend entirely on the laws of that senator's home state. In the case of Kentucky, the state has specific, strict laws designed precisely to handle the situation where the governor and the departing senator belong to different political parties.
Kentucky law dictates exactly how that scenario works:
1. The Governor Does Appoint the Replacement...Kentucky's governor (currently Democrat Andy Beshear) does have the formal authority to make a temporary appointment so the seat doesn't sit empty. The appointee serves until a special election can be held to officially fill the remainder of the term.
2. ...But the Governor's Choice is Strictly Limited
Because the governor and the senator are from different parties, the governor cannot just pick anyone they want. Under a Kentucky law passed in 2021, the governor is legally required to choose a replacement from the same political party as the departed senator.
The selection process follows a strict chain of events:
The Party's List: The state executive committee of the departing senator's political party (in this case, the Kentucky Republican Party) selects three names and submits them to the governor. The Selection: The governor must choose the temporary replacement directly from that three-name list.
The Timeline: The governor has 21 days from receiving the list to make the final appointment.Context for Mitch McConnell: It is worth noting that Mitch McConnell announced he is not seeking re-election, and Kentucky is already holding a regularly scheduled U.S. Senate election on November 3, 2026, to choose his successor.

Saw a poll this week at 47-47. I just can't believe that. This is Texas. Surely that race is NOT that close.
Its not as close as beto and cruz were. Te dmanaged to oull it out even though he is unpopular,
PAxton will squeak by as well.
The funny thing is that the democrats could have actually won this election if they nominated a sane person.
But tallywhacker is too weird and gay. Paxton by 5.
The USA is in the process of balkanization. How that will turn out and what it will eventually look like, no one knows.
ITs obvious the courts either want this or are too scared to stop it.
Congress is completely paralyzed and cant/wont do anything.
The President has tried to use executive orders to get these done but again the courts stop him.
So we are completely overrun. In my mind, the only solution is to stick with your own as much as possible. Try to find neighborhoods where your team is the majority (preferably vast majority) and hunker down.
You damn sure dont want to live in a "minority majority" area when the system starts to collapse.
And yes, it will at some point.

Well, why should they? I am hardcore MAGA. Trump has been saying he would end their civilization for months and hasn't done so. Why hasn't he? Why hasn't he dropped MOABs all over the place?
Because that would be a disaster for him at home politically and internationally. And iran knows this. They will just wait him out.
My advice to Trump would be to stop talking as no one believes him anymore. Either actually bomb the shite of them until they submit, or twist Israel's arm until they agree to the terms.
I don't particularly care which route he goes. Just tired of the empty threats.

Let Iran get a nuke and get it into a major American city. Then you will have your answer, they will do that the first chance they get
Why hasnt Pakistan? Or North Korea? Or China? Russia? Anyone?
Because it means global annihilation that's why.
You do realize all nukes are traceable right? They cant just be given away to a terrorist group and detonated anonymously.
"The Nuclear Ledger: Because manufacturing weapons-grade material requires massive, heavily monitored industrial infrastructure, global intelligence agencies maintain comprehensive databases of known nuclear signatures. If unaccounted-for material is seized or detonated, its profile is cross-referenced against these databases to identify its reactor or enrichment facility of origin."
Iran will do the same as North Korea. IF they ever get a nuke it will mean their regime will endure forever.
IT is what it is. We need to stay out of the middle east.
Howard Hughes was never crazy in the sense of losing his mind. He had severe, crippling Obsessive Compulsive disorder (OCD). It was caused by his mother instilling a deep fear of germs in him at a young age. As he grew older it got more pronounced and his world shrunk. It got so bad he never left his room. And he started odd habits like saving his piss and not cutting fingernails.
But he was still a smart businessman and one of the world's wealthiest until the end. He never lost his touch in that regard.

Byron Donalds the good guy.
Is he? I have found a concerning pattern with black republicans where they gradually move to the left once elected.
The only exception has been the Great Clarence Thomas.
But Tim Scott, Michael Steele, Winsome Sears, and many others side with the dems far too often once they get higher office. Yes, some whites do this as well but I notice the percentage is higher with this group.
I hope I am wrong as Florida needs to remain based.
College football is hopelessly corrupt. It has been since the beginning. From the bagmen, to the deer antler spray, to the steroids, to the prostitutes, to gambling etc.
That is part of its charm.
All this pearl clutching over this one kid gambling is so fake. It doesn't impact your life.
You should be more worried about your kid being stabbed to death at a track meet than if he gambles on his own team. That is the part of our society that is cratering, not some random meaningless gambling.
