What movies or shows best reflect your childhood and/or adolescence?

For me, the characters in Stand By Me and The Sandlot are pretty familiar for younger days.
For adolescent years it's a bit harder to come up with a close match. Maybe some mash up of Pretty in Pink, Fast Times at Ridgemont High and St. Elmo's Fire.

Barring the cops, this was a very accurate rendition of my high school experience:
This was how high school was when the cell phone was out but predates the iPhone.

I was a teenager in the mid-late 90s. So I struggle to find a good reference point.
10 things I hate about you, she’s all that.
I did grow up in a football town in West Texas so Friday Night Lights and Varsity Blues aren’t too far off.

The Sandlot scenes in the tree house, and the language those kids used, are exactly like when I was in elementary school.
My junior high years were mix of that life, and the freshman boys in Dazed and Confused. My high school life was like the guys that played football in Dazed and Confused. I was cocky enough to flirt with teachers, and cool enough to hang with the black guys..

Dazed And Confused was spot on in so many ways.

Graduated High School in 2018. Definitely Euphoria because we all did Heroin with trannies before school. Kinda hazy.
ETA: On a more real note probably Stranger Things because, even though it was set in the 80’s, it was just really popular while I was in High School. (Still is obviously) I’m sure in like 20 years we’ll get a show that makes the 2010s seem nostalgic somehow.

Just a few years behind Dazed and Confused. Really got the feels from that one.
Just a couple of years before events happening in St. Elmo's Fire. Definitely identified with that one.
Incidentally, anyone else noticed that half the cast of The Breakfast Club playing high schoolers (Ally Sheedy, Emilio Estevez, Judd Nelson) were in St. Elmo's Fire the same year (1985) playing recent college grad adults?
Oh, and when we saw the scene of the guys in Swingers(1996) playing NHL hockey on Sega before going out to a club, my friends and I saw ourselves on the screen.

I graduated in 1999 but Dazed and Confused captured my late HS experience. Just replace the 70s music/clothes with baggy pants and No Limit/Cash Money rap and that was my experience. Smoking pot and just hanging out.
