That Julia Roberts thing was terrible - as was the film - but I suffered through it.

None but I wish I would have walked out of the Blair Witch project. That's the dumbest movie I've ever seen by far.

Have sat thru some awful ones. The thin red line comes to mind. The only one I actually left was Gods and generals. I usually like war and history but 2 and a half hours in and then it had an intermission - I was gone.

Children of the Corn. So bad

Almost walked out of Thor:Ragnarok. Unpopular opinion, but I am just not a fan of Taika Waititi, and I continue to believe that this is possibly the worst marvel film of all time.

Does that mean you've not seen Love and Thunder?

yes, I have seen it. I think this is a pretty good indication as to exactly how bad I think Ragnarok was.

I never just walked out, but when I was young I left movies early plenty of times to get more interactive with my date.

That's amazing to me. Ragnarok is one of my favorite Marvel movies, easily. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. Ragnarok had just the right combination of humor with some emotional stakes. And I hated love and thunder, Waititi needs someone to keep him under control or everything becomes a joke. His Korg character should've been left on Sakaar.

The only movie I can remember walking out on was Conan the Destroyer, costarring Wilt Chamberlain and Grace Jones.

You didn't want to see the contact?

No, it was tedious and boring as frick. I just changed theaters, I didn’t go home. I saw the movie later and realized it was a good choice. Contact is a movie I’ve seen once and wouldn’t endure again.

Easily one of the best films of the 21st century so far.

For some, not for all. Would be curious how many times people that say this are willing to rewatch it. It never seems to show up on those lists, losing out to critically acclaimed bits like “Home Alone.”

I remember vividly when my dad walked out of Contact and said he'd be in the car.

the last third of the film is in 3D

Can’t believe quest for fire got mentioned in here twice. That one is a classic. I wish it were streaming more often it seems to have been forgotten
