Even as a kid, this part always bugged the shite out of me. Dude, you were the ducks for 1 peewee season. I guess they were the ducks before Gordon came around, but they were trash. Also, you got other (albeit very few) players on the team that were never ducks. You're playing for your country, not your town. Bombay should've slapped Charlie for bad mouthing the good people at Hendrix that got him his sweet beach home for the goodwill games.

Adam Banks, though he never pulled off the triple deke like Charlie did.
BTW, here's a list of every Mighty Ducks player ranked by greatness. Charlie is #7, Cake Eater is #1. You won't believe who was named #2!

I love the Mighty Ducks movies, but they make no damn sense.
So in D1, you get a rag tag team of nobodies that suck and can't even when their own league. Bombay comes along and coaches them up to a local championship, okay that's fine.
Then in D2 these same kids are suddenly the best in the world? They go from local scrubs to beating the best competition in the world, and the rest of the team from across the country is a rodeo champ, a figure skater, and a street hockey player from LA...what? They pull together and Captain Duck sits out the championship game, not the kid they literally just picked up off of the streets.
Fast forward to D3 and now the best junior hockey team in the country is a junior varsity team that can't even compete with their classmates..yeah ok. Did they forget how to play hockey over the last year? Or was this prep school actually the best junior hockey players in the country that just didn't compete for team USA.

The Varsity won the junior championships when they were eligible. They are older. It's clear that the Goodwill Games, Hendrix, and Eden Hall Prep are in some recruiting/money laundering pipe line.

im pretty sure Eden Hall is basically the IMG of Prep school Hockey. they show all the championship banners which leads me to believe they are kids all bound for D1 then the NHL

It’s based on Shuttock St. Mary’s, which has multiple NHL all-stars like Jonathan Toews, Zach Parise and others as alums. Plus a quarter of the US women’s team. Basically the top 3 guys every year get D-1 scholarships.
The Eden Hall varsity being that good is actually pretty realistic.
On the outer hand, I have to agree that Iceland being a super power, Trinidad and Tobago having a team, street hockey being really popular in South Central LA, the Junior Goodwill Games being popular enough to get play by play coverage, members of the team getting recognized on Rodeo Drive not for being Aaron Spelling’s grandkids but for their success in a youth hockey tournament, and a lawyer quitting his job at a Minneapolis firm to coach amateur youth hockey are all a bit of a stretch.
