I didn't know the 90's TCA was a remake.
I'll have to check out the McQueen version. I actually need to rewatch the Brosnan one. It was good.

So he didn't remake Thomas Crown Affair, he used the name as a costume to change the narrative of the past. I was actually fine with a straight up remake starting MBJ, then he stepped on his own feet.
You know he could have just made a heist movie about anti-colonial heroes repatriating stolen artifacts. Can the resident liberals tell me why he just didn't do that thing and why he had to subvert your expectations?

Oof, the trailer already made me not like it with it looking like he is now going to be more hands on with fights and such. I like the Brosnan one because of the lack of that from the rich guy. He used money and cool tricks to get out of things. This makes me want to see it even less.
