I can admit I didn't know McQueen played it before the 1st person that mentioned it in this thread. I never even watched the last one with Brosnan. . .as I loathe heist flicks. But I am a fan of MBJ.

While everyone is going back and forth on the race swap, I am wondering what revenge has to do with this movie.
As someone who has watched the Brosnan version probably 20 times and the original a few times, revenge isn't something I think of with Thomas Crown Affair. Crown robs for the thrill of it and doesn't really care about what he is stealing, he is just a bored rich guy.
I am curious if they just missed the shite out of the plot with the poster or if the whole move has missed the point and shifted.

You know, just as Hollywood starts making movies that are unique or at least from sources that haven’t been adapted yet, they remake a movie that’s already a remake.
