Top Gun question re: Goose's fidelity

Goose cheats on his wife, and likely on the reg, correct?
When they enter the famous bar scene, Maverick and Goose walk in and Mav says something like "This is what I call a target-rich environment." To which Goose replies "You live your life between your legs, Mav." Which seems to be Goose detracting from getting laid.
It continues..."Goose, even you could get laid in a place like this," to which Goose replies "I'm telling ya, I'd be happy to find a girl who'd talk dirty to me."
Nothing overly bad, but a questionable response.
But then Goose says "So I guess it's my turn, isn't it?" This suggests that they take turns with this kind of bet (which seems to be having "carnal knowledge" of someone else). The "of a lady this time" seems to be a joke, but it can be assumed that maybe Mav (or one of them) has hit on someone and it turned out to be a dude before?
Anyway, I watched this part the other day and it was the first time I ever really picked up on the "I guess it's my turn, isn't it?" line. This would seem to suggest that perhaps there were times in the past when the bet was for Goose to have carnal knowledge of some ladies on the premises (on the premises).
Yes, I am overthinking it, because that is often what we do here. But I wanted the board's thoughts on this as well. And yes, I know people think Top Gun is about the ghey. But those people hate America.

Probably. That's why he eventually fakes his death and becomes a doctor on ER where he continues to slut around even though his bald arse should be thanking his lucky stars any time a woman is willing to put up with his needy bullshite.

I think it’s just guy talk in a bar.

Didn't this mean that it was Goose's turn to pick the target. Meaning they take turns picking Maverick's target; not take turns acquiring carnal knowledge of said target.

Movie had severely gay overtones.

Goose never cheated on his wife even though many if not military families have at least one incident of infidelity.
Goose is just "that married" guy who is living vicariously through his single best friend's penis

Meaning it’s easy to pick up an immature 21 year old girl as a Naval Aviator. He has to pick up a lady, meaning a mature woman, not some boozed up college girl who’s gonna give up the top piece without any effort.

The way it is presented, it’s not his turn to just pick the target, but rather his turn to make the overall bet.

You're both wrong. By "lady" they mean not a prostitute. I always thought that was fairly obvious.

Well, Maverick is the biological father of Goose's kid.
So, it wouldn't be unheard of if Goose cheated on Meg just to even the score a little.

Normally I'd say, "He's in the Navy, Isn't he?"
But in this case, I do think Goose hero worships Maverick, on the job, and when it comes to catting around.

If anyone was cheating in that marriage, it was Carole

Goose far outkicked his coverage with Carole.
Even in the first viewing (and ever since) the bar scene, the interaction between Carole and Mav gave me the feeling that Carole was wanting his "Top Gun". I've seen less overt "frick me NOW" looks from pr0n stars.

So the brain tumor was karma?

Y’all must have missed the second part of that sentence.
