Yep, I've seen it. Kind of campy and gory. Fun movie if you like that kind of stuff. Mentally unbalanced dentist's wife is cheating on him and here we go!

Funny scene that there was a second of in that trailer was with the salesman trying to talk his way into the office to see the doctor. Behind the scenes in the clinic there's a trail of blood and dead bodies. As the salesman says "Doc told me to just go in anytime", she, ignorant of the carnage in the clinic, says something like "No, he didn't. Nothing goes on back there without me knowing about it!"

As a dentist myself, I give it a 5/10, but an enjoyable 5.

Where exactly was the amphitheater for the Worlds Fair located at on the riverfront?

Check out this pic...that big building to the right is the Hilton on Poydras at the river.

Kick was pretty good but Listen Like Thieves is an all time great album.

Two earlier albums, Shabooh Shoobah and The Swing, were on constant rotation in my car back in the day. Great stuff.

First song I ever heard by them...on MTV no less.

I also saw them at NOLA Municipal Auditorium on March 5, 1988 with Public Image Limited the opening act.

I was there too, and this was back when Jimmy Swaggert got caught hooking up with prostitutes (pun intended). Michael Hutchence dedicated “Devil Inside” to him.

Serious question…didn’t he JUST make those Nobody movies?! I haven’t seen any of these movies, but aren’t they just like the exact same concept. I’m confused about how Normal gets made directly after Nobody.

Next 5 movies by Odenkirk:

Nobody 3
Noble
Normal 2
Nocturnal
Nomad

All I remember is a few words from the chorus: sunshine, good times, Cheerwine (or maybe cheap wine). It isn't Kid Rock's Good Times, Cheap Wine. It isn't ABB's Soulshine.

I was there. They opened for the Go-Go's at the amphitheater on the riverfront at the 1984 Worlds Fair. I had never heard INXS prior to that concert. It was epic and I have been a fan since that night. I also saw them at NOLA Municipal Auditorium on March 5, 1988 with Public Image Limited the opening act.

Damn...I could have typed this exact post. INXS was one of the tightest bands out there. Too bad Michael Hutchence couldn't hold it together. And for those who don't know, PIL's lead singer was Johnny Rotten of the Sex Pistols.

Felt compelled to come on here again just to shite on somebody from LSU? What a prick.

I second that emotion.
Pat Benatar is NOT garbage and should have been inducted well before the Bangles or Go-Gos. She’s a serious rock singer with major chops who influenced scores of female rock singers. Plus Neil Geraldo is one of the most underrated guitarists out there.

Another band that’s not in that deserves it is the Guess Who. Sinful.

Hideous. We don't need to become Oregon.
Nope...nothing cooler (temperature wise and tradition wise) than the traditional white jerseys. Personally, not a fan at all of the purple jerseys. Keep them for the one out of conference game per year.

You mean about as heavily as the families of all the dudes who died saving him (not to mention the men themselves)?

I thought Miller was actually being noble.

Ryan didn't ask for any of that and made sure to point that out to Miller and his squad when they tried to convince him to leave the bridge.

Good point, but it's war, and there are orders. Miller could have taken him away before the fighting started, but Miller chose to stay and defend the bridge. Thus, noble. Ryan needs to earn that sacrifice.
