As provided by the YouTube channel, Watch Mojo. Be aware, there is a lot of recency bias in this list. No performance on this list was given before 1990 with the vast majority of the mentions coming after the year 2000. There are some stinkers throughout cinema history that should have made this list.

Dishonorable Mentions:

Will Arnett, Show Dogs (2018)
Mariah Carey, Glitter (2001)
Britney Spears, Crossroads (2002)
Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, Holmes & Watson (2018)
Matthew McConaughey, The Dark Tower (2017)

20. Sofia Coppola, The Godfather Part III (1990)
19. Dennis Hopper, Super Mario Bros. (1993)
18. Steven Seagal, Half Past Dead (2002)
17. Meagan Fox, Transformers franchise (2007-2009)
16. Kirk Cameron, Saving Christmas (2014)
15. Johnny Depp, Mordecai (2015)
14. Arnold Schwarzenegger, Batman & Robin (1997)
13. Halle Berry, Catwoman (2004)
12. Madonna, Swept Away (2002)
11. Dakota Johnson and Jamie Dornan, Fifty Shades of Grey franchise (2015-2018)
10. Jaden Smith, After Earth (2013)
09. Mike Myers, The Love Guru (2008)
08. Kristen Stewart, Twilight (2008)
07. Taylor Lautner, Abduction (2011)
06. Jennifer Lopez, Gigli (2003)
05. Hayden Christensen, Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002)
04. John Travolta, Battlefield Earth (2000)
03. Tommy Wiseau, The Room (2003)
02. Nicholas Cage, The Wicker Man (2006)
01. Adam Sandler, Jack and Jill (2011)

love the movie as a guilty pleasure but Vanilla Ice should be on there for Cool as Ice

and Sofia Coppola should be much higher. Her "acting" is legit worse than everyone else on that list

Should be higher on the list. I can't believe I've actually seen part of that movie.

Agreed. I often argue that this movie was actually not a bad flick if you can ignore her performance. Having George Hamilton--who was already a Hollywood punchline as "the tanned one"--as the Corleone's attorney/financial advisor didn't help.

I give Wiggins a pass because he was a completely untrained actor and put in that role to try and show him as being an odd man out.

Not a good performance by any means but it is like trying to complain about a Little League player who is inexplicably put on a MLB team.

List is garbage. Every person on that top 20 outside of Madonna, Coppola, Wiseau and maybe Smith are all professional actors by trade. The truly worst acting performances involve musicians and other celebrities who aren't professional actors. For example, Beyonce has been beyond atrocious in pretty much every movie she's been in outside of Dream Girls. She delivers every line with a flat monotone delivery and there is zero believability in her characters when you see her on-screen outside of Dream Girls when she basically played herself. The worst performances from the likes of Sandler, Cage, Travolta, and Hopper are nowhere near as bad as the typical Beyonce performance.
