The show is probably more like it’s always sunny than anything else, considering these are Pennsylvania guys and similar to IASIP, the main crew are friends who write and act it out together. Oconnor, gerbs and Shane are the people that basically created the show along with keevs. Also great to see a mcckusker cameo. Hopefully we see more of the shaman next season. Just the way he rode up on the bike made me cackle

Way over the top. I'll finish it eventually because its only 6 episodes, but it is definitely more Its always sunny incompetence than the office, with no redeeming qualities for the characters that I've seen.

its nothing like Sunny.. Sunny has so many levels. the character development is miles ahead
I liked the series,,I dig Shane
But this series was obviously rushed to take advantage of Shane being the hot thing right now , But I don't blame them for taking advantage of it
give them some time season two and beyond may be better there may be more development in it
but I like the fact that they're casting the show with other stand-ups as much as they can I mean in that way it's like sunny that they're doing it with their friends
and II hope it grows into something else and I think Shane actually has some comedic acting chops
I mean kind of like Zach G. , Will Ferrel he may be a one-note actor but ,, Im willing to see and at least he writes his own stuff

Does it get any better after the first episode? Barely any laughs one episode in and I love Shane...

To be fair there has only been a handful of episodes compared to Sunny thats been on for more than a decade.

I agree that it was rushed to capitalize on Shane’s recent success.
Also a lot of comedians have gotten big doing podcasts and have gotten their first specials on Netflix, and several of them are on this show.
The issue is that just like many great athletes make terrible coaches, many talented comedians aren’t good in the sitcom format. John Mulaney’s short-lived sitcom is a good example.

I don’t begrudge anyone making money off of that. But, it is kind of sad because she was pretty funny. I always remember her on the Jim and Sam show. Stinks that it takes that for her to actually make money in this world.
