t would be pretty dark to kill off an infant

I think that the show has been missing a "dark" angle to it. Everything just seems watered down IMO.

I think Milton is going to be the one who ends up killing the Governor because he stopped Andrea from doing it last week. Maybe Gov & someone else--Rick, Andrea, or Michonne--will be in a face-to-face death match and Milton will come in and do the deed. Not sure if they'll have him join Rick's crew or kill him off. As someone noted a few pages ago, if Herschel dies, Milton could take his place as adviser.

More likely is that Milton frees Andrea after the Governor leaves to attack the prison, leading indirectly to the Governor's death at Andrea's hand.

That seems very likely at this point.

the only problem with storming woodbury while the governor and co. is attack is they'd have to basically slaughter unarmed innocent people, doesn't really sound like them

Bill Murray/Dan Akroyd/Harold Ramis cameo for the Woodbury invaders (no Winston though, we need Cutty to live)

They don't have to necessarily "storm" Woodbury. What if Milton stays behind, frees Andrea, and convinces the townsfolk that the Gov is BSC, and they just let Rick's crew in while the Gov's army goes to the Prison. Then the final battle could be the Gov's army trying to take back Woodbury. But with that said, it would probably take more than a hour to work all of that in.

The next episode is entitled, “Welcome to the Tombs”. Hopefully, Woodbury will get torn apart in the prison’s dark tombs, which I thought was the best set, aside from downtown Atlanta, that’s been on the show thus far and a good way to end the season.

And yes, Hershel is all but dead and at least another member of the prison group... who it is will be the real mystery until Sunday. I'm going with Glen. Dark enough, emotional enough, but still bearable.

I'm thinking Carl kills the Governor right before Gov. attempts to kill Rick and/or the baby. Carl will then be well on his way to becoming the new Shane.

Perhaps Judith isn't the only baby Lori had with Shane.

While I agree I think the baby keeps a certain dynamic of hope in the show. You kill it off, then whats the point of fighting, every time you pro create its just going to get killed while its an infant.

That's just it. There is no hope for anyone in their situation. They are all inevitabley dead and the best they can hope for is to prolong their life for a while. I think the baby dying would introduce a little sense of how fricked up their circumstance is and how little hope they have of normalcy.

I think this with a Milton and Tyrese combo helping Andrea escape Woodbury.

You know there will be some Home Aloneism done with the Prision. Use what you know to repell invaders in your home. Though what got me was the preview. the entire woodbury group came to the door as a cluster. It would be so easy to rig death from above on a trip wire to that door.

I am really hoping for something epic. I think Carol, Judith, (Herschel's daughter) die, Herschel survives because that would be even worse for him now considering his losses and mental state. I hope the Governor dies I just think even more will die.

Carl shooting his mom in the head wasn't a dark angle?

Does anybody have a link to the preview with Woodbury walking up to the door? I can't find it anywhere. Also, is there anywhere to watch talking dead online?

The character is basically a one-note prop there to move the story. And the actor playing him sucks. I'm ready for him to be gone as well.

Keeping around bothersome characters that they have no intentions of developing gets annoying after a while.

No because everyone hates Lori.

I've rethought my opinions (and probably will several more times by Sunday). I think in keeping with a certain hopelessness and lack of "happily ever after" that the ZA brings, I could see Hershel seeing Beth killed and being unable to stop it. I think Glenn comes very close to much wanted revenge on the Gov only to have the tables turned at the last second. Maggie holds him as he breathes his last (I know, corny, but hey- emotional). Hershel survives. Why? Cause we think its been set up for him to die. Who finally takes out the Gov? Right now I'm leaning towards Michone but they could let Tyrese do it to fully establish him as a part of the group.
