How about through the eyes of someone who actually works in healthcare?
My daughter works at a very large medical center, larger and more well known than The Pitt. She had a patient this week who is ready to discharge, but can't leave because he has no one to help him at home. Well, turns out, he is illegal and therefore unfunded, not from Mexico, but another Latin country and seeking asylum in Mexico. His family actually lives in Mexico, but can't sponsor them because they are illegal there. He has a sister that lives somewhere in the south who was driving to the hospital (won't say which one, but it's well known and in Tennessee) and was stopped by police for a traffic stop. She ended up detained by ICE and never made it to the hospital.
Sometimes what they show on The Pitt isn't really meant to be political, woke, etc. either way. It's literally just the things that people see in a major trauma city in a large city.

Love this show but I LOL when the one doc talked about funding being cut for “ study on racial inequality in the treatment of colored people” haha

Joy schooling the radiologist swinging her dick as usual. Vaulting up the MVP standings
McKay and the hospice patient needs to end.
All the women oogling the radiologist was a little much.
Mel is an angel, and I hope her sister turns out to be ok and that story doesn’t get ugly where Mel may take it personally on Langdon
Shoutout Monica aka General Patton to get shite straightened out and get the Pitt on track . I like her no shite taken attitude

I'm with you on that one, would feel like a little much for The Pitt, would be more in line with other classic ER shows

Dana’s forced season 2 accent and only talking though bottom lip is killing me. Hard to watch her anymore. Santos needs to get her bull dog arse kicked and come back to reality. But HBO loves that character and will probably make her the hero.
