Right. NEW Passion of the Christ which no one is talking about in an Odyssey thread for a movie that opens in 10 days.
Stop with the red herring nonsense and stick to the issue.

The back & forth over this movie even before it's hit theaters has been hilariously entertaining.
Fighting over a movie you haven't seen is the modern-day equivalent of opening the Bag of Aeolus just to see what happens.
It will most likely be a visually stunning film & well done. I don't care for the inaccuracies but I'll wait to see what people I know & trust say about it.
I will say this, I do think it's easily a billion plus movie if he had stayed more true to text & historically accurate. It still might idk but I don't think it loses money.
Other than a great filmmaker, Nolan is a marketing genius.

As much as I want this film to fail, it sadly won’t. Nolan is too big and well-known of a director for the average movie goer to skip this. It’ll print money based off Nolan’s name alone.

My point was that if you have a problem with one you should have a problem with the other unless there's a certain reason that you want to bitch about the Odyssey and not Pasion.

I have no clue who is in the next JC movie from Mel Gibson. I don’t see how it’s germane to the conversation. His first one in 04 had no such issues.

Jim Caviezel is Slavic and Irish.

Still closer than Lupita to Helen.

Maybe it's the same certain reason that it's ok to predict a film will be good before you see it but if you predict it will be bad you're a troll.

The Odyssey will be similar to Discloser Day in that it will have a large opening weekend. I saw DD on opening weekend and the theatre was packed.
Then it will be up to The Odyssey to be good enough to sustain success for a few weeks or like DD it will wane quickly.
If the Odyssey is good it will be huge, if it sucks it will do ok, but won’t make a profit.
