Ok, but that doesn't mean there isn't controversy around the movie. I'll ask again; do you not think the controversy is real? That's typically what someone is implying when quotes are used like that.

I don't believe it's a big controversy, I really don't. I think it's being pushed hard by people that need engagement for their payouts. Most of the people I'm seeing making a big deal about it will end up watching it. I can almost guarantee that.

It's not necessarily a bad word and it's what Nolan was going for so I'm confused by the denials that it exists. The film will still be good or bad on its own but the controversy is there.
It was there with Supergirl too, FWIW.

I think that's all most people want.
But in a forum devoted to Movie/TV I'm not surprised there's talk about big (that's the goal, anyway) summer movies. If they haven't been released yet people talk about casting, trailers, whatever.

They should've went with Peter Jackson or somebody.
I'm pissed that this movie could've been epic, but because Hollywood is filled with weirdos and idiots, this movie will be trash.
