Let's see if they can avoid the Thor mistakes and keep themselves from killing off a perfectly viable villain after a single movie.

I don’t think Doom is even in this movie aside from perhaps a cameo or end credits. With how Feige plays things slow, I also don’t see Doom being a villain immediately.

More likely, Doom is built slowly and is maybe even thought of as a hero in the beginning. “Heir apparent to Tony Stark” story or similar. If he’s around by then, I could even see Doom allying with the heroes and being a big reason why Kang is defeated.

How would you explain his role in Antman and WandaVision?

Took me longer to get that joke than I would like to admit.

Some version of this scene would be insane just replace Thanos with Kang

I've always wondered how Jon Hamm would fair. Especially after seeing him play a great villain in Fargo.
He was made to be a villain and nobody figured it out until way late.

Not sure about Doom though.

I really like this idea. I hope at least they show Doom fully established in his comic accurate suit, ruling over Latveria with an iron fist and his obsessive hatred of Reed Richards if they are really going the 60s route. They reaaaaaally need to lean on the Doom vs Richards rivalry if they are pivoting to Doom as the new big bad imo. It’s the crux of both characters and what makes their relationship so interesting.

Doom showing up in present day MCU in Avengers 5 pretending to be an ally to stop the Kangs while he’s actually scheming for omnipotent power would be completely on brand. The F4 try to warn the other heroes not to trust him but they don’t really know any of these people so they believe Doom.

Doom shows up and wipes out the Kangs left and right only to seize all this power and gloats at these FOOLS for believing there was any other option than DOOM. In one stroke you have fixed the Kang problem and have a far bigger badass to deal with for Secret Wars.

That would be amazing. I swear there are so many badass lines and moments from Doctor Doom in Secret Wars. I will never understand why Feige or anyone else thought doing Secret Wars with Kang made any sense. It would like trying to do Infinity War with someone other than Thanos lmao

Josh Brolin was Cable for Fox and Thanos for Marvel. The merger came after.

Doesn't count.

Chris Evans was already Johnny Storm (and will reprise the role in Deadpool 3, allegedly) for Fox before his role as Captain America in Marvel, too.

Mads was a baddy in a Marvel movie already.

It’s Disney. It will be someone like Idris Elba.

I could see it, but most of his roles make me think more of the way Lex Luthor was portrayed by Jessie Eisenberg - not a fan.

Great actor, was already in the MCU though... but I think he could pull it off. Voice distortion and always wearing a mask helps the fact he's already been in an MCU movie. Has shown he doesn't mind wearing a mask for an entire movie (Dredd) unlike a lot of actors.

Amazing actor, but I just don't see it. Not saying it's impossible, but he'd have to do a lot of vocal training to SOUND menacing. I always imagine Doom sounds like he could kill you just by willing it to happen.

I could see it. Only know him from GoT though, but he was really good before the writing went to shite.

I don't know his work well enough to have an opinion.

Perhaps this Chart That Elon Musk Showed will help you out:

Pedro is the whitest looking good actor that is still in the "underespresented group"

Or perhaps Pascal is a proven actor who can carry multiple franchises while Krasinski is a "likable guy" in a limited amount of roles.

why in the world have we gotten so many fantastic four movies in the last 2 decades. And now their on the 3rd cast. 4th if you count the cameo John Krasinski made in Multiverse.
