Oh, Pedro is a damn fine actor and I expect he will do well. Aside from Wonder Woman 1984, I've enjoyed everything he's done that I've seen.
If Pedro had been introduced as Reed Richards in the MoM instead of Krasinski, it would be much easier to become invested. Instead, Marvel created a little controversy when it was not necessary.

Also Krasinski is already too involved with directing and writing to be in a long committed role. Pedro is a solid actor and is incredibly popular right now

why in the world have we gotten so many fantastic four movies in the last 2 decades. And now their on the 3rd cast. 4th if you count the cameo John Krasinski made in Multiverse.

Man Secret War was so amazing. I really hope the MCU dedicates an entire phase just around Doom somehow winning ala Thanos and we get an entire movie just focused on Doom running shite while the heroes try to pool resources for a stand.

There’s only been 3 and all of them were somewhere between bad and complete trash that completely missed the mark on all the characters except maybe Chris Evans’ Human Torch ironically. And Marvel wasn’t involved with any of them.
Disney/Marvel Studios has been sitting on a gold mine of content for years since they reacquired the Fantastic Four and X-Men while they’ve hemorrhaged money pumping out movies/shows about these D list characters no one gives a shite about. Hopefully they are starting to realize the vast majority of their core audience is much more interested in these iconic franchises

Pedro Pascal is lazy casting so they can have DEI in the cast. He sized in Wonder Woman 1984 and mostly only voices in Mandalorian. John Wayne’s grandson is in the suit most of the time.
