How similar was the boys to season two of peacekeeper? It’s like the writers were all in the same room.

Will you two just get a room already?

This whole board would be a better place if you two would just acknowledge your mutual desire and get on with it.

That’s just because Gunn can’t write anything so he copies. Copied Invincible to write Superman, copied The Boys to write Peacemaker.

I will watch the last season because I watched all of the rest. But they went a bit too hard in the paint on the very obvious politics for about a season and a half now and that annoyed me a great deal

Me: More attracted to Sydney Sweeney, Jessica Alba type.

drizz: likely looks like Michael Moore, Rosie O’Donnell hybrid.

We should save this thread as a template.

I hate to see everyone go to the work of repeating themselves every time this comes up in a series.

SPOILERS FOR COMIC

Homelander’s “rule” essentially ends right after he kills the president. He is then killed due to reasons erased from the show.

His “takeover” lasts zero time.

There is no Homelander rule.

This is probably me too.

I subject myself because I just can't not finish a story.

Not going to lie, I usually just FF through most of the weird sex stuff too. It's just too much. Homelander having mommy issues made sense, and made his character different.

Then every character having a weird sex fetish - just trashy.

For a while I wouldn't even start a show until it was three seasons in. I got burned when Jericho was canceled, and was just left hanging.

However, some of the absolute dreck in the last few years, starting with S2 of House of the Dragon, have driven me to just ... not... care.

The last season of The Boys will probably get a watch, generally because there are some hot chicks around.

Gunn really is a one trick pony. Ragtag of throw away characters come together and defeat the big bad, accomplish the impossible. I'm surprised he's not remade The A Team.

Or did he already do it? Did I miss it?

How world you know? You don't watch either.
But you have dozens of posts about them.
Idk. The shows i don't watch or care about I'm not all up on those threads. . It's like you want to seek out shows that have politics that are opposite yours.
.
I just ignore shows i don't want to see.

Watched 2 seasons of The Boys. So there goes your false narrative, right out the window.
