Why the hell could no one write a new script with all those Star Wars books out there.

Well it was Kasdan who wrote the movie. Plus JJ probably just wanted to right the ship with fans and tell them it's okay to believe in Star Wars again and gave us this characters and where the story is going while giving a throwback to the OT. Everyone needs to relax

As long as they are good movies and have a different plot for the most part over the course of the series, I think we can rest comfortably

JJ has made a few good movies with the Star Trek films. I mean, have you seen the shite shows that have been the average Star Trek film for the past 30 years. What was that one about saving the whales! LOL Yep, that is a lot of expectation to live up too.

Star Trek is a much different genre. Those movies didn't belong to be Star Trek, it's fans want different things in their movies. Those were made for non fans of Star Trek, so they are terrible Star Trek movies. The new one is gonna piss em off worse, that trailer looks like Fast and Furious in Space.

I bet there is a different plot twist

It's a recycled plot twist. Runs a bit into ESB with the recycling too.

I am sure I am going to enjoy it, the universe is great and it's Star Wars. It just needs to be fun to be worth watching, even the bad Star Trek movies were fun so I liked watching them.

Another review said the movie was safe, which is disappointing, I was hoping someone would die at the end. A major key player that sets the standard.

I knew it was going to happen. Probably be 90% before its all said and done. However, the last guy that posted a review was a guy that has only done 3 reviews ever for RT and he gave TFA a negative review imagine that

Why would anyone give a shite about a rotten tomatoes score?

I do not understand rotten tomatoes score anyway. Does this mean it has a 97% chance of being a "bad" movie?

It is 94 % now but no.

What it means is out of the 170 critics that reviewed it so far, 94% said it was a good movie.

That is all.

Keep in mind this movie will be reviewed by around 320 critics so it still has a ways to go.

It's a compilation of binary grades. Each critic says it's either fresh or rotten. 1 or 0. So far 94% have said fresh.
