Some lady yelled out "Oh HELL no!" when that happened in my theater.
That kid was on the verge of tears.
He sounded absolutely heart broken.

Mind control or not
You’d be out of luck in the comics. Everyone’s been mind controlled at one point or another.

If that had been Cap I likely would have rolled my eyes. By far my least favorite Avenger.
I like Cap but that’s not the spot for him

I find this board's lack of faith in Captain America disturbing.
1) God enters the fold encompassed by lightning with a hammer/axe & proceeds to frick everyone's shite up.
2) Smart man who can run fast & hit hard.
Marvel made the right choice.

If that’s how you see Captain America, you don’t deserve Jack Kirby.

The fact banner says what he does, although meant to get a chuckle from the audience since hes saying what most are thinking, also indicates I think that at this point most of the avengers recognize thor is the strongest definitely their equivalent to superman. And the way he demands thanos really drives home the point you arent just looking at an avenger protector of earth but one of the single strongest creatures in the universe. Thats great, but on the flipside I believe they are going to have a hard time challenging or killing off thor(which I hope doesnt happen anytime soon) without whatever they end up doing feeling extremely cheap.

After traveling through time and space using said axe, after absorbing the full force of a small star to forge the magical axe. Yeah, he's badass

Definitely Ragnorok for the music alone.

the thor movies could be way more badass and epic, like vikings or LOTR
they are too cheesy

I actually got a LOTR vibe when thor runs at the horde in infinity war

The first two were, but Ragnorok was pure fun.

There were two fantastic audience moments in Infinity War at the theater.
When Thanos stabbed Tony:
the entire theater gasped and went quiet and I heard the kid next to me whisper "No!".
And Thor's arrival at Wakanda when the whole place went nuts.
I'm not feeling so good... I'm sorry Mr Stark, I don't wanna go
as Tony helplessly holds Peter

it's pretty crazy to me that the quietest a theater has ever been as the end credits rolled was a freaking comic book movie lol. I've seen a bunch of sobering and humbling films in theaters over the years, and nothing compares to walking out of IW in complete silence with 200 other folks.
Totally different from my experience. It was completely expected. It almost sounds like you are comparing to an experience of walking out of something like Schlinder's List or something. Everyone was talking about how they were going to bring them back. It's one of the most known story arcs in the comic world. If there wasn't a snap, it would of been a terrible version.

IW easily, could have only been made better had they done it too Immigrant again. Probably one of my favorite moments in a movie theatre ever.
Also yeah when Tony got stabbed I legit thought it was it.
