Yes. There are all kinds of easter eggs on the Roku screen saver scroll. Look in the window in the upper left and you will see the Graduate.

It took them about 21 months to produce S1

I think that the lifestyle of Carol's Las Vegas peer is more than a balanced counterpoint to her woke existence.

And it's not like Carol is a lesbian Mary Sue. She makes horrible choices and fails repeatedly.

That's ridiculous.

Have you seen the Ninja turtles in the screen saver yet? Very well hidden.

I liked the finale, but it was definitely not great for an actual finale. It would have been a great penultimate/setup for a finale though. Oh well.

I do really like the show, but it was definitely a bit disappointing in terms of things happening and us finding out anything. But I definitely have faith in VG in delivering though, and I'll watch episodes as long as they churn them out.

I'll catch up on the thread and see what others thought about it.

Another thing that just occurred to me: the hive can't lie. But if one of the normies converts, do they have disclose that to the others? Like if the normies have another in-person meeting, and the Indian lady joins the hive right before...
it’s pretty simple to tell a normie from anyone of the hive. The Karen-ish Indian woman would no longer act like a Karen and her mannerisms would be an immediate dead giveaway. That won’t be a way the hive fights back but perhaps the normies in support of the way things are will demand the hive to do such and such to prevent Carol and Manduro from putting things back the way they used to be since the hive is pretty defenseless on their own other than ignoring them. Like they did to Carol when she tried to get the truth out of Zosia on how to convert them back so they all just evacuated from her completely

Most overrated tv show of 2025. Started out strong and went out with a whimper. Vince is great but this was a major miss. It’s his Tenant.

It's standard Apple TV fare. Well shot, good actors, but a slow burn, not much twists or action. Silo is much the same vibe. Pretty to look at, but it takes a long time to get anywhere.

I've got to agree. Especially after I saw it's going to be 2 years before we see another episode.

I’m about halfway through, and enjoying it for the most part, but I’m going to kill myself if I have to continue to listen to the voicemail message everytime Carol calls.

Just finished it, feels like it is just getting going right at the end. Sucks that season 2 will probably be a long way away

Yep. That was just brutal. In a show that’s basically 90% filler that was the most painful part. They could’ve trimmed down the entire season into 3-4 episodes, and then used the remaining 3-4 episodes focusing on moving the story forward.

I don’t mind slow burn content, but the characters need to be interesting enough to hold my attention. In this series, the characters are substantially less interesting than the premise itself. Focus more on that moving forward, and it could be a really good show.

I'm not sure where I'm at, S1E9 was not good. I had high hopes, but I have points of contention.

I think I said it here, but when they told Carol she would have to have an injection for stem cells and her consent, the first question would be, are you working on alternatives?

Besides Carol being angry - understandably - she's too smart to not ask the right questions. I saw this coming, she needed to ask that next. Instead, she's now surprised.

Is there all 4 or just 3? I have found 3 of them.

I started out very interested in the show, but the gap episode and all the slow burn stuff got me disinterested. I still have not even finished the gap episode. I read some spoilers and have so far decided I was correct to lose interest.

I'm looking at it like the whole first season is slow burning Act 1 of a play that is just setting the table for an incredible Act 2.

It sucks that intermission is two years though. Hopefully they've already got tons of footage in the can to be used in S2 so they aren't starting from scratch which took S1 so long to make.
