So, was the Black Widow movie a misdirection? Does a prequel make sense now?

The beginning and the end of the saga.

It was the sound of Tony building the very first armor in the cave.

I think it was always going to be a prequel

Has to be a prequel. My GF says she saw Ballet shoes in the background of Endgame when Widow was on the call. That might be a big tell. I didn't see them.

Endgame kicked the shite out of the Battle of Winterfell. The nitpicks here are nothing in comparison.

I REALLY felt like they screwed up the Cap/Bucky/Falcon ending. That was just stupid.
Eh, Sam was the natural choice. Bucky has some serious baggage in the MCU. Even if it was uncontrollable baggage.

I’m not talking about the choice. Give Falcon the shield.
But THEN have freaking Bucky, the guy Captain America turned the world upside down to save creating the plot that led to the schism allowing Thanos to win, yeah THAT GUY...the best friend in the world Cap traded EVERYTHING for...have Cap at least say “it was worth it brother” and hug him as his last words.
That was a colossal screwup to miss that opportunity

Ok it's just getting really suspicious now.
Your obsession with fat Thor is weird. Put your hard on for Chris Evans away, your latent homoeroticism is showing way too much.

EG is really the first time you see the true extent of Thanos fighting prowess outside of the first 10 mins of IW with Hulk.
Agreed. He was a badass. Lol to the user that said CM was owning him like Superman did Steppenwolf. They were pretty evenly matched, then he one shot her with one stone. :/

This could be the best movie I've ever seen. Maybe for personal reasons, but it spoke to me as a dad. I felt the pain and WTF of Hawkeye from the opening scene, and it kept going through the movie.
I coach two of my sons, and over the last two years gave up about $30k in pay to do so. I have felt that "I could have worked and paid my trainer to build them, and he is the best in at least Arizona. Maybe I should have done that instead." My sons and their teammates have become great players and wonderful kids. I've been able to teach them a lot about a lot.
Long->short, it's been a hell of a sacrifice in time and effort... And I've questioned whether it has been worth it. I did it all for my kids, and I felt that at least that time and what I've taught them would matter to them.
When Tony told his dad "no amount of money can replace a second of time," I lost it. I cried like a little girl because a few hours before seeing the movie I realized that my sons do understand what it takes for me to spend that time with them and coach their team.
I don't know if there are plot holes or inaccuracies or anything else, but that movie spoke to my soul today. Extremely well done, especially for an action comic movie.

She was kickin his arse. Made him go all "broken arrow" on everyone, even his own troops to get away from her.

Many moments in this movie hit you a little harder if youre a parent.

So are we to believe Bucky knew that Cap was going to stay back in 1945?
Their goodbye at the end seemed to imply he wouldn't be seeing his best friend for a while, even though had Cap come back after returning the stones as planned, it would've only taken 5 seconds.

I think so, when they were talking before Cap left, Bucky tells him "I'll miss you, buddy." or something like that. Kinda like he knew

What did Captain America do with Thor’s Hammer? Did he leave it somewhere?

So if what happens in the future doesn’t change the past why does thanos follow the avengers to the future in 2014? Why not just stay the course and win the first time like he does the first time? Or is it because if he does that the exact same thing will happen in his timeline?

Because without him coming through and stopping the Avengers in 2023, his work would be undone. It would still get done because the past continues to exist, so he isn’t risking his 2018 victory by jumping ahead to 2023.
If he defeats the Avengers in 2023, he cements his victory for all time. Then he can jump back to 2014 and carry out the work. That’s why his claim before he attempts to snap is “I am inevitable”
