I freaking loved that show. I recently went back and streamed every episode on Netflix.

My wife thought something was wrong with me, but what does she know?

Dawg I thought Jurassic Park and Snatch would get more hits.
I guess this is more of a Requium For A Dream fun crowd.

Jurassic Park came out in 1993

nothing better. If I ever see this on tv, no matter where it's at or what else is on, I stop and watch it.

I've been watching Farscape for about the past two weeks and it has me itching to see Fifth Element again. They are so similar in tone, that the sort of self-awareness I identified in Fifth Element is what caused me to latch onto Farscape even in the beginning (The first season starts off rather bland plot-wise).

I miss Farscape!

I was re-watching various Sci-Fi (SyFy whatever) shows on Hulu the other day. I had forgotten that I missed SG-1's 200th episode - which included this bit of awesome: Stargate's brief parody of Farscape

As far as the OP is concerned - I'm with ya on The 5th Element. "Pee-po-li!"

Other movies I put in the "really fun" category are Serenity (already mentioned), Brotherhood of the Wolf, Sin City and the latest Star Trek incarnation.

I just want to say that I LOVE 5th element. Saw it in theaters and have probably seen it dozens of times over the years.

It's a supurb achievement in film. The soundtrack is also great. It holds up very well against modern special effects too

I haven't seen this mentioned.

A Knights Tale is a lot of fun to watch.

I personally would go Sin City over Zombieland.

Cult classics should be judged by different standards. This movie almost went unnoticed by the masses. I think that's why people were pumping it up so much. It was almost like the hype was a combination of shock and trying to get everyone's attention: "Hey Look!!! I can't believe this movie flew under the radar!!!")
