I'm talking where you think the Guy/Gal is gonna make it to the end or carry the movie. Only to meet an early end and leave you thinking well that was unexpected.
I'm gonna list a few that come to the top of my head. What are some other movies you got?
1) Deep blue sea - Samuel Jackson
2) Executive decision - Steven seagal(yeah he was a star once)
3) Scream - Drew barrymore

Meet Joe Black has one of the all-time most unintentionally hilarious scenes in an otherwise awful movie.

1st time this was done to an audience. At the time, this was unthinkable. Even worse, the way it was done.

Not a movie, but I was pretty surprised to see Ian Mcshane show up on Game of Thrones and die after an episode and a half.

Technically Star Wars
Alec Guinness was the most established and credible actor at the time in the movie and dies on his first mission in the film.
Superman - Marlon Brando
